The initial snap of an alpha mildly stunned the female, and she scootched closer to Azrael, giving the alpha a glare and flattening her ears. Needless to say, she did not enjoy being spoken to like that. Shortly, though, she heard the quiet comment from the pack in which the red female is from. He agreed with them apparently. Laying her head on her paws, she continued glaring daggers at the white female until an undead wolf stepped forward and tore two strips from the red female. It only further amused her, and her attention was diverted.
So the red female's name was Freya. Interesting. Freya held her head up high, in a manner which had Del snicker. Another outburst from yet another alpha caused Del to grin. This meeting was only getting more and more interesting. ”We should come to these more often.” She muttered to Azrael, the grin widening.
Out of the corner of her eye she spotted another wolf enter. He was white, and one eye was missing. His fur was slightly more scraggly, and his gait hinted at some age. He definitely wasn't a pup anymore, but he also wasn't too old yet. Perhaps just a bit past his prime. When the male glanced in their direction, she quickly glanced away and rolled slightly onto her side, facing her back to the meeting, and her front towards Azrael. Her job wasn't to attract unwanted attention from the other wolves until Az needed it. She'd been about to lay her head onto her paws and doze off until a commotion behind her caught her ears.
Her left ear twitched and she turned her head, watching the white male make said commotion. Then he began walking over to them and she studied him curiously. He seemed friendly enough. Smelled of loner, and just slightly of another female wolf. When he muttered, 'Damn. Hook line and sinker' She tilted her head to the side curiously and glanced over at Az. She brushed the comment off once he began talking again, this time to the other wolves. The moment he did so, she lost almost all interest in his presence until he began talking to them again.
”What does matter is you. You and that pretty little thing.” With a wink, her ears folded back slightly in a combination of shock and uncertainty. She inched closer to Azrael, slightly nervous now. ”What brings you to these wonderful, but forsaken parts?” The silence that followed was drawn out and awkward as Azrael allowed it to pass by. Just sitting beside him without glancing at his face she could tell he was mildly unimpressed.
She cleared her throat, deciding to feild this one. ”We're travellers, and I suppose you could say a kind of 'hippy'.” Delilah gave a small chuckle. ”You know, 'spread the love' and whatnot. We found this place... interesting, and I suppose we're staying a while.” A quick glance at Azrael told her she hadn't said anything too out of tern, so she decided to push her boundaries slightly and continue. ”I'm Delilah. This is Azrael.” She gave a small dip of her head in Azrael's direction as she introduced him.

Freya rolled her eyes as Charlie went into a speech, tuning her out. She was all bark and no bite, pathetic, she thought. What she had said was just going through one ear and other the other, Freya didnt bother processing any of the useless information that came out of the loners mouth. And then she heard the words cowardice and betrayl. "Those that speak of cowardice and betrayl are often the ones they betray others or are cowards, i speak of neither of them," she spoke calmly, "If i stand aside, you will all die." How they would die, she had no idea, actually she did. She'd find another dimension and burn this one, rid this world of all life forms.
Another voice piped up and she turned to the crystal alpha and scoffed at the attempted of getting her to leave. This one had guts, unlike Charlie, who she glanced at before back at Iceflame. She concentrated for a moment, placing a barrier around her and Arch who she hadnt moved away from. She had already upset him once, she wasnt going to allow him to be hurt as well.
Freya flicked her tail towards him, brushing it against his hind legs, hoping to comfort him even more. She either growled not spoek harshly to Iceflame or Charlie and was surprised when Niko had spoken up saying to get on with the meeting and to leave her alone. Well thats what it sounded like to her.

Niko couldn't help but grin at the sound of that. Spread the love huh? He couldn't stop a part of his mind from wondering what that could mean, but stopped short. He had a mate and was content. "Spread the love huh?" He chuckled knowing he was insinuating things that she had not with his little innuendo. It was all in how you said things.
"Please excuse these meetings. They didn't used to be like this, but the trash doesn't take itself out of the den anymore." He inclined his head towards Freya unable to stop his mouth from making another comment about the female. It was a habit that he'd gotten into and never gotten out and for that he blamed Luna.
"My names Niko."

Once she calmed down Aisu listened to the other wolves and heard the growl from the outsider turning to glare at her. She heard Freya and raised a brow “What makes you so sure we’d all die without your ever so kind leadership.” She asked sarcasm evident in her voice.
Then she listened some more and she softened once she heard Niko's words and remembered how the Gatherings used to be. "He's right." She smiled walking up to them "They never used to be like this. They actually used to be peaceful as the name implies but ever since Freya came along and the lands changed there hasn't been any peace." She explained a little. “I’m Aisu by the way, the one who bit your head off for no good reason.” She grinned sheepishly tucking her ears back slightly “I know that you didn’t intend any harm by laughing it’s just that, well, these Gatherings mean a lot to me.” She whispered glancing at Niko and wondering if she was making a fool out of herself, also wondering if she was welcomed or not in their little conversation.
“The stiff over there is Misae. My mentor.” The youth laughed slightly gesturing towards the white female yet as she turned her head she saw that the Goddess was gone. She went wide eyed and out of panic shot a tiny ray of light from her mouth feeling dizzy once it cleared. “She’s gone…”

Archimedes had watched his fellow pack mates reactions to this occurrence as well. Abaxus looked amused and Etheral looked angry because he was upset. Trying for a weak smile to calm her, Arch felt the brush of Freya against him and heard her words in his mind. Turning back to his alpha he was about to respond when more harsh words broke out from the un-dead wolf and the Crystal alpha who'd been injured by Lucifer in the last meeting. Listening to their words, Arch looked meaningfully at Iceflame and spoke softly to the smaller alpha who was at this point sparking with power. "She is the alpha of a pack in these lands and has as much right to be here as you." He took a defensive position between his Alpha and this one. Keeping an eye on the un-dead wolf who had shown no physical aggression. Better safe than dead. It was at this point he felt Freya's touch again and returned it. Brushing his tail lightly over hers as he noticed a barrier surrounding them both. The message was clear in his touch. 'I don't understand why you did it. But you're my alpha and i trust you.'

Celeste listens on with a slight irritation. She begins to wonder why she even goes to these meetings. She never felt a need to come, until what has happened recently. Not appearing for the last meeting has had a devastating consequence: her alpha had been attacked and she wasn't there to defend her. She regrets every minute of it, and vows to be around Iceflame to help her.
Celeste notices the air becoming different. Looking towards her she eyes Iceflame with sparks flying off of her. She leaves her position next to Charlie and comes to her aid. She evades the sparks by her by aiming them in another safer direction. She half nuzzles her sister-like wolf and whispers to her, "Please don't be upset. Aisu is right, as long as there is a Demon Pack, Freya in particular, things like this will happen." She moves a little to give her some space to calm. She eyes every wolf here and shakes her head thoughtfully. "So this is how the Peace Gatherings have come to. I'm disappointed." She says these words in a whisper, almost to herself.

Niko grinned at Aisu giving her a light wink of approval. "Times change. Times always change." He still noticed some tension in Archimedes and cocked his head staring at him and Charlie. He ignored Aisu as she talked about her mentor, there was no need to worry about that.
It was odd to say, but this reoccurring picture of tension had so much become the norm that he chuckled slightly amused and shaking his head at his own thoughts. "No one ever really fights. Can we quit the glares? For five seconds can we focus on the simple facts of the world around us and that we're all four paws and fur?"
Niko wasn't sure why the hell he was playing peace maker, but it was probably because he and Feather had come a long way in their relationship. So much so, that he wasn't lacking for anything. A completely satisfied male made him fell mello.

Freya glared at the other wolves, her head raised high. She had done what she had intented and though there were new wolves she didnt particularly care about their powers right now. Raising her head higher, she glanced at the sky, opening her mouth to yawn. This meeting was now boring her to death. She lowered her head again to see Archimedes in front of her, speaking to those that spoke harshly towards her. She smiled behind his back, nodding, though he probably couldnt see it.
"Leave them Arch, they'll get whats coming to them sooner or later," she nudged the side of his rump before turning to look at the rest of her pack. Without a word spoken she turned her back on the meeting and headed home, whether or not her pack wanted to follow was up to them.

Arch wasn't being aggressive. He was just standing between the two wolves and his alpha in case they were. Listening to all the disappointed voices talking about the peace gatherings being all about fighting now Arch felt a sadness grip him once again. Now he was contributing to the violence. Feeling Freya's touch, Arch turned to look at her. Nodding obediently, he bowed an apology to the other wolves and followed Freya out of the gathering grounds. Sighing as he followed his Alpha, Arch dropped a few bushels of a new herb he found into his tea pouch. Mixing it he took a deep swig and the warm feeling filled his body. Suddenly, he didn't feel so bad. In fact, If the world would just stop spinning he would feel pretty good.

It was kind of confusing when the attention was unexceptionably turned to Delilah and himself. What started out as a creepy man ended up with Azrael being the star of the show. It was like they never seen any new wolves before. Of course he wanted to just set in a low profile and not be noticed, but apparently this was just wasn't to be. He thought that when Delilah covered the white one's answer that everything would be fine and dandy and would continue back on it's merry way. It never went to plan, nothing was ever supposed to go the way that it was expected, the world would have been too easy to figure out if that was the case.
He wasn't really too uncomfortable with the whole shift, sure it wasn't what he wanted but he could still play nice. Azrael felt that Delilah though was starting to feel a little... creeped out. He couldn't understand why at all, only one eye was completely charming, hopefully the poor man at least lost it with honor. Somewhere however he was getting a lurch in his stomach, refraining from getting territorial. If he was asked about it later he was just going to tell the girl that he was saving her from the one eyed fellow. "Hello Niko, my name is Azrael and this is my mate Delilah. I'm from a place rather far from here, by a desert; I met her near home, flowers in the desert always smell the sweetest." He figured that an answer like that was suffice he was going to have to get to know these wolves so he might as well start now.
Then he sat and listened to the other wolves, in some form, introduce themselves, and making sure to make a few jabbing comments and one named Freya. If she was a pack leader than he just didn't know what was going on around here, where he was from... well needless to say that didn't happen.”Yes, time has changed for my pack as well,” Azrael really didn’t mean that in the terms that it was changing for the worse, he was in full confidence that they were doing better than ever. Before with the old alpha they lived poorly, no better than sand rats but now they were finally blossoming. Even though it did mean that he did step on a few paws along the way, but nature worked that way. Survival of the fittest.
”I am very curious to where you wolves are from; I feel like you all wield great powers.” This wasn’t a lie, he could tell with the way that they held themselves that they were confident. Azrael also heard the odd whisper of this place when he was travelling near, but he was curious to how they became this way. Further south it was possible to have powers, but it wasn’t common enough for there to be whole packs of wolves with these abilities. ”Delilah and I are… oddities, when I was a pup I was told that it was a gift from the Gods.” It was going to be interesting to see if they all had the same belief, or if they had some other reasons cooked up from their heads. He wasn’t going to intrude on these wolves, not to just destroy a whole culture. ”I am just wondering if there is some science to it.”
He paused for a moment and decided to stand up from off the sandy ground that he was laying on, the ground that reminded him of home. Stretching for a moment after his muscles felt tired and lazy Azrael wanted to talk to these wolves on equal levels, he was an alpha, maybe from not around here or of wolves with terrifying powers, but he still saw himself as an alpha. "I apologize, I think I've been running off my mouth too much" He apologized for his behaviour, he supposed that he was starting to get a little too excited about this gathering. [/color]

Del nodded towards Aisu, and then gave a small shrug when she commented on Misae’s absence. ”From what I hear, she’s a Goddess, I’m sure she’ll be back.” Her words were quiet, and after she said them she glanced at Azrael, checking to see if anything had changed in his expression. He seemed slightly annoyed. His body was tense, as though he was holding back attacking the other male. ”Hello Niko, my name is Azrael and this is my mate Delilah. I’m from a place rather far from here, by a desert; I met her near home, flowers from the desert always smell the sweetest.”
Delilah could feel herself became warm and light from a joy rising in her chest. She had to work to hide the growing smile, and eventually she succeeded. In her mind, she reasoned it would only further the proof in his statement, but deep down she knew it was really just because she’d wanted to do it since she’d met him. The female shifted forward, gently pressing her mouth against the corner of his. Slinking back, she nudged closer to the male and rested her head on her paws once again.
The female contented herself with zoning out against Azrael. He was warm against her side, and her eyes half-closed. She was in her own little bliss, and everything else that went on around them was lost on her. Even if it was all for pretend, she was going to pretend it was real. Azrael was a good enough actor that she could even fool herself into believing it. If only for a short moment.
'”Why do we have to stay here? These wolves are such duds.” She sighed, rolling over and playfully pawing Az in the muzzle and chest. He grinned and leaned down, gently licking her cheek. Her tail wagged in reaction, and her paws curled up at her chest as she stared up at him.
”You know why.” He muttered to her, and he rose, walking towards the entrance of the cave to think for a moment.
Del frowned and flipped over to her stomach before pushing herself up and making her way over to the male. Her ears flattened affectionately as she nudged him, and then she sat beside him. ”The world as it is is catastrophic. It's our mission to fix it.” His pupilless eyes looked over at her, and she gave him a small smile. ”That's an awful big order to fill for two young wolves.” A small grin crossed his features, ”It's not the size of the puppy in the game, it's the size of the game in the puppy.”[/i]
Delilah's eyes flickered open and she frowned slightly. He wouldn't say that. She gave herself an eye-roll and internally chastised herself for being a ditz. Her gaze quickly travelled up to Azrael's face as he spoke and stood, ”I apologize, I think I've been running off my mouth too much.” She frowned slightly. Personally, the female enjoyed the tone of his voice, the very sound of it... it was like... How would one go about describing it? Calm, knowing, intellectual... No, that was the general tone.
The suddenly cold spot beside her was an inconvenience, and similar to a slap in the face for her daydreams. She sighed and rose as well, shaking the sand from her fur. After a quick glance at Azrael she felt as though they probably weren't going to be leaving the moment he started a conversation. Her eyes glanced over at the two wolves they were talking to. She'd seen Aisu's burst of light... and it intrigued her. Her eyes rested on the white male, wondering what powers he held. ”It would certainly be interesting to see all of your powers in a scale. On our travels, we've seen few others like us, and I've found that many of the powers range in strength.” A small smile crossed her lips, [/color\”Perhaps it would be fun to get together and discuss them sometime.”
