Her arrival was strictly earlier than anticipated. She observed her surroundings, then easily jumped onto an old stump Aisu often lays on or under, then leapt up to grab a branch, using her momentum to fling herself up to a branch. Her back paws landed on the branch, and she stood with perfect balance, not trying to hide herself for once. Her enemies were here. The others had a right to know what had begun to invade their homeland. It was her duty to tell them. Hopefully at least one wolf from each of the other clans and many of the loners would appear. Then the news could spread at least far enough for a warning for all of the wolves to be more careful to be spread throughout this land. She placed her left hand on the trunk of the tree while the other held the hilt of her sheathed sword in reassurance. Then she let out a deep, loud, howl.

Venom follows in after Alex. He comes in an unusually quiet and slow demeanor. It's happening again, when his own venom backfires on him. It tends to do this when he doesn't release his venom. He doesn't get poisoned, he just gets weak. The reason being is that he hasn't killed anything in a while. He usually eats whatever his pack brings into the den. He lays down against the tree where Alex is perched up. He gives a quick nod towards his friend and asks, "Hey what's doing?"

Alex listened as Venom came in after her. "Believe me, you will find out, even if none listen to me during the Gathering. But i am telling others ahead of time." Alex refused to give Venom more than that, her ears moving here and there, listening for sounds.

The sound of ice protesting rang about the cavern, echoing off the cold rock and frost lining it. Inside the ice, Charlie began to move. There was a growl, which would have been loud if not muffled by the ice; as it was, the sound was distorted and sounded almost monsterous.
Her body was numbed from being frozen solid for months, and her power felt as though it were being leached from her. Perhaps freezing herself in a temporary sleep wasn't such a great idea after all. A sleep was what she needed, but she wanted to prevent rotting and possibly scavengers from eating her; the best way to do that was to freeze herself. Now the female refused to be over-ruled by the element she controlled. She stilled herself, feeling out the ice, guiding her way by power.
The spine chilling screech of protest from the ice deafened her, but she persisted and within a few moments, the ice crumbled and fell from her. Finally her eyes opened and the undead wolf glanced around the cave. Her home. The act of getting up made her flinch, but Charletta continued out of her cave, moving forward until she was outside, finally under the stars. Faintly she could hear the howl. Of whom, she had no idea, but she knew where it was coming from.
Each placement of her paw ached, and looking up the steep cliff she'd have to climb just made it seem all the more painful. Glancing around, Charlie spotted a chunk of ice still lodged in her fur. Shifting her vision from ice chunk to cliff, an idea slowly formed in her mind. -------------------- The mound of ice moved, undead wolf on top as though it were a casual thing. Considering ice itself didn't move so easily, chunks would break off and move back, speeding her forward and to the clearing. Just outside of the clearing of trees, Charlie's ice mound collapsed in on itself, and she jumped painfully to the ground. The grinding of her bones was sure to alert other wolves of a presence. Whether they put two and two together to figure out it was her presence was a whole other matter.
As she limped towards the clearing, the clinking of ice followed her. Controlled by her powers, the ice followed, taking the vague form of some twisted creature from the depths of a nightmare she'd had in her slumber. She made her way through the trees and towards her usual spot. Vacant as she'd expected. Cherokke had been long gone. Perhaps the male had passed on. A twinge of jealousy filled her at the thought and she lay down. The ice guardian remained upright, a warning to any violent wolves. Little did Charlie know the violent wolves she was thinking of hadn't been around for a while.

Abraxas makes his slow, tiresome trek towards the peace gathering. Another night has passed him by, with little to no sleep. The nightmares, no, memories keep playing back to him in his sleep. He wasn't really in the mood to go to other Peace Gatherings. They didn't need him there anyway, so what's the point of going? Frowning he makes his way to his usual spot, which is far away from the other wolves. Its a grass-less area, lacking life, much like him. He looks up to the moon. How long must this suffering last...

Celeste bounces happily and gracefully towards the gathering. This is the first time in a long time that she's been here, and she's sort of happy and strangely excited for some odd reason. Coming to the clearing she eyes a few wolves, but none of her own pack. Then she sees a familiar wolf. Trotting up to her, she says, "Hey Charlie! Long time no see. How are you?" She takes a seat next to her, looking at her expectantly. Noticing that something is off, she asks, "I hope I'm not bothering by asking if you are alright? It's know it's not my place, but I was just wondering..." She lets her voice trail off, seeming like Charlie needed some peace and quietness.

A high voice called out her name and Charlie's ears responded, swivelling in the direction of the commotion. Her head followed suit in interest to see Celeste. At first she was annoyed. Annoyed that her peace had been broken. Then slowly something followed. A warmth? Perhaps the joys of being noticed. There was a small twitch of her lips, and it was difficult to tell if it was inching towards a sneer or a small smile. Talking with someone for once, rather then simply hanging back and listening, would be a nice change in squedule.
”No harm done.” She told her. ”I have been doing alright myself.” She paused to glance down at her slowly decomposing body, ”Though not for long.” Perhaps it would be an idea to speak with Fang or Archemedies to halt the effects of time on her body. It was a sad life, but it was a life nonetheless.
”How have you been, Crystal wolf?” Charlie's rasp trailed off a moment as she glanced towards Alex. ”You know... we never did get to finish that little duel before it was interrupted.” There was a slight growl in her voice as she looked at Alex, but it faded when her head turned towards Celeste. ”Perhaps we can finish it sometime.” Finally she smiled slightly, exposing her light yellow teeth.

Archimedes yawned sleepily as he meandered into the clearing. Glancing around brightly he noticed a lot of faces he hadn't seen in a while. Where were all the regulars? He shrugged the thought away with a sleepy shake of his pelt and sat down. Looking over he spotted Abraxus, a rather solitary member of his clan. Smiling brightly he fixed himself some tea and called over to him. "Oi! Pleasure to see you out and about mate. Come over and join me." His ears were perked up and swiveling around to take in the sounds of the meeting. Lapping at his tea politely Arch glanced over at the other wolves and gave a pleasant nod, pausing momentarily to match names with faces and to glance at Charlie's condition. She didn't seem to be doing well. Everyone seemed to be too busy to come to the meetings these days. Sighing softly he drank his tea and waited for someone to talk to him or for Abraxus to come.

Kestrel gave a sigh, sniffing the air before lying down. Lavish came trotting up to her, a little bundle of excitement despite the dreary night. Rain was on the wind, and Winter lay crouching just beyond the boundaries of time, waiting to pounce. The nights were becoming increasingly colder, and her pelt thicker. Lavish had also increased slightly in size, her fur being thicker and longer then normal. Both were taking advantage of the food sources, for once the snow begins to fall in a few months food will be even harder to find and catch.
The importance of the Peace Gathering was something that was in the far ditches of her mind. Kestrel had little use for the “Peace Gatherings” now days. Rarely did anyone show up, and whenever wolves did show up, a fight was almost ensured. She was more concentrated on her and Lavish since her pack’s sudden silence. Kestrel found herself returning to the life of a loner. Which she was perfectly fine with.
It was when a long deep, but surprisingly feminine, howl split the sky that Kestrel’s ears pricked forward. A calling to the Gathering. Well that would be a first. A first since she’d returned that is. How curious. Lavish was on her hind paws, watching Kestrel with a curious expression on her face, waiting to see if they would leave their hunting to inspect. The black and silver female glanced down and with a blink of her eyes; the two began towards The Clearing.

Beauty makes her grand entrance towards the Gathering. Head straight...back stiff...tail up... Just like her mother taught her. Oh how she missed her. She didn't have many friends, so whenever she was down and out, she would snuggle up to her and her mom would make her feel better. Sighing, she continues her strut and stops at a nearby tree. She spots Kestrel and heads over to her. "Hi there. Long time no see. What's new?" She gives a little nod towards Lavish and expectantly waits for an answer.

His ears perks ears up when he hears someone talk to him. Abraxas opens a lazy eye that was closed to see a bright yellow wolf looking eagerly at him. He rolls his eyes. His eagerness, and friendliness irritates him. Yet, he gets up and trodes over to him. Sitting down with his guard up, glances at the tea and wrinkles his nose. The smell is nauseating, but he deals with it anyway. He continues to sit there, awkwardly, not use to being this close with someone. Letting out an irritated growl, he states, "When is this meeting going to start?"

Alex shot a glance around at all the wolves, and heard two more coming. "Fellow wolves," She called out from the branch she was in. Then, she jumped down. I have urjent news that requires the utmost attention and i'm afraid it cannot wait until more wolves arrive." She closed her eyes, not happy about the news she was about to speak. "Humans are coming to strip this land of us, the wolves with special powers. They have been hunting down special specimines like us for centuries, And now they have found this refuge. We are all in very real and grave danger." She opened her eyes, completely serious as she looked around at all the wolves here.

Celeste smiles back. Looking over towards the dimension pack general, she nods and says, "Yes, it is too bad we couldn't finish. And I would very well like to continue another time." She ponders on the question Charlie asked her. How has she been? Being the only survivor of her family, it's been pretty rough. She knows she's not alone in this feeling. Most of the wolves here are alone too. Looking at each and every one of the wolves, yes she confirms this theory. Especially the new demon pack member. He seems so out of place. She takes in his shackles and and his scary appearance. Getting back to the question, she replies to her, "Well, I'm..." lonely no, she keeps that thought to herself. "I'm alright. Just fine." She smiles at Charlie then looks up to the trees, watching the wind blow it in a dancing-like proportion.
Her concentration breaks when Alex announces the tragic news. "What?" How did this happen? When will they arrive? All of these thoughts are traveling in the mind of the purple wolf. "This can't be..." she half mumbles to herself. She looks up at her, standing on all fours with a determined look on her. "Well then, I guess we'll have to defend ourselves. This is our land, and I'm willing to fight for it."

The air was heavy with rain as the Alpha walked the path to the clearing her ears alert for sounds and the smell of winter's coming made her shiver her silver pelt was already growing shaggy for winter. Aisu then heard the howl and blinked quickening her lagging pace into a jog and once she made it to the Gathering grounds she glared when she saw only a few wolves. "Why summon a howl like that if there's no need?" She barked sauntering over toward the familiar rock and tree she sat between the two. Away from the others and part of her felt comforted by the old earth as if her mother and father were here with her.
Her ears pricked up however when she heard the word human. Her eyes narrowed and her fur bristled "You did this!" She spat at the wolf who spoke and acted with the human tongue. "You lead them to us you half-breed!" She growled threat in her voice as she felt the heat in her belly rise again.
'Don't fret my child.' She heard the comforting voice of the Misae as the white wolf of the sky took shape and formed beside the youth. 'The two-legged cannot come to this land. I forbid it! This land has been protected for centuries by my brothers and I. I will not allow the two-legged to ruin it again!' The Goddess growled as she shined white with fury.

Iceflame heard the announcement as she came in. Then Aisu shot blame at Alex. "Aisu. It is not your place to place blame, backed up by Misae or not." Iceflame calmly walked up to Alex calmly, then sat in front of her. "Alex, please tell us how you came across this information."

Alex flinched at the words Aisu threw at her, then looked over at Iceflame as she walked in and spoke. smiling sadly, she shook her head. "I apologize Iceflame, But I cannot accept your aid at her comments. It is, in fact, my fault. I thought I had thrown them off my trail a long time ago, but an old friend found me and told me that a group of... collectors... had found my trail. They will not take us at first. they will first observe. Later, most likely they will capture me to try and use me as a translator. To prevent this, I may have to give up my power by becoming full wolf." she gripped her sword.

Hearing the sound of a magnificent howl, Sakima follows the sound to a clearing with a group of wolves. With the look on on their faces, something tragic has happened. He picks up on the conversation and hears talk about humans. Why hasn't he known this? Oh yes, it was that time of the year again where he visits his family. Well, now he's finally made it to this new area, to find out it will be overrun by humans hunting wolves. A white wolf took form next to Aisu. For some reason she looks familiar, but he can't think of why. He decides now is not the best of times to introduce himself, so he glides up to a nearby tree and waits, expectantly for Alex's information.
After hearing her speech, he nods, envisioning all of the collectors and their methods. Sure enough, they are thinking about collecting her, and some other wolves too, including him. He lets out a soft growl. He will not allow this. He jumps from his perch from the tree, lands softly, and announces: "That will be unnecessary, young one. They are probably already in the process of capturing us. They've most likely had tabs on you for a while now, and have collected all of the data and chosen the wolves they will capture. What we must do now is prevent this from happening." Pacing a bit, he thinks on some ways to prevent this. Glancing over towards Celeste, he thinks back on her remark. "This one might be right. Once they attempt to capture us, the only way is to defend ourselves." Looking over towards Misae, he says, "Do you agree, Mistress?"

"It's not her right to tell lies." The younger growled under her breath still not believing that her home was under threat. Yet she retreated from her solo act to stay beside Misae and she listened to Alex's words. Still not believing and she snorted. Then, she saw a new wolf appear, male, and quite handsome however he didn't talk and retreated to a tree only to appear again and voice his so called facts. Addressing Misae as Mistress and it confused the youth.
Misae bowed her head in thought, knowing of the new male and of his words. "No. To prevent this from happening the only options we have are to go after them first, which is highly unlikely unless you're stupid." She paused to gather the looks of her surrounding offspring none of them looked stupid enough to risk their own skin. "Our second option which seems like the only option is to move land. They will find us either way and they will capture us. Even with all of the numbers you are not strong enough to fend yourselves. I've seen what these two-legged can do. They are not kind to our ways." Again she paused to look up at her starry home.
"You might as well plan to leave now. The lands are changing still, Achak is not kind to those who disobey the law. If you wait until the two-legged find you it will be too late and as I said, you are not strong enough to defend. They will take your land, your family, and your ways."[/i][/color] The Goddess growled in all seriousness.

Iceflame turned to Misae, a serious and angry look on her face. However, when she spoke, her voice was calm and steady. "That's easier said than done. Some of us have known these lands since before they could remember, myself included. I am not willing to abandon it, and i am sure many others think the same."

Shadow stalked into the clearing. It had been ages since he'd heard a summoning howl. Even if he had, he was far too busy with his son to attend. Looking around at the wolves in attendance Shadow saw many faces he did not recognize and few that he knew sparsely. Coming in at the end of all the commotion he arched an eyebrow in question. Turning his gaze on Aisu his eyes glowed and he latched onto the darkness in her anger. Reading her thoughts of the past event before shaking his mind clear and growling in irritation at the news. "I've inhabited these lands since before the time of the changing. I know no other home. and my son is far to young to undertake such a journey to a new land." His eyes darkened at the thought of humans ravaging his homeland. was that where Nokida had disappeared to? Anger boiled deep within him at the thought of Her screams as humans closed in to take her. "I've fought them before... I shall do it again if i must."
Kaizer followed close behind his father. Clinging close to his side at the sight of all the older wolves. None of them seemed to happy. He looked up at his father with wide eyes and fear as he spoke of fighting the humans again. "b-but father..." his voice was small and frightened. He had already lost his mother. Kaizer wasn't sure if he could survive without Shadow.
