[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: d3d3d3; width: 370px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30;]Live your own life after all, the possibilities are endless Fang was rather irritated with herself at this time. Why she thought strolling along the mountaintop just to get a single herb was beyond her. It was freezing here, outside Galaxy Pack territory. She was beginning to wonder why wolves liked this temperature. Her paws were rather numb, so she stepped quickly in order to keep herself warm without melting the ice, which would have made the situation much worse. She did keep her feet warmer than she would normally be on a gynormous block of ice, but not too much warmer; only enough to prevent frost bite. And she still had a mile left to go.
She could just teleport there, but doing so would disturb the atomosphere around the forsaken thing and ruin the fluids. Of course, this rotten ice rock should have already done the trick, in her opinion. I mean, blizzards, ice water, and frozen things galore? Fang would have put herself out of misery just to get to a warmer place, even if she did go to the ashes below earth. Her disgust at the world would have been so much greater than her dislike of her father. Fang paused in mind and body, glancing hopefully about to see if she had the opportunity to perhaps hasten her retreat from this barren land. But to no avail. She continued to complain to herself.
Why didn't she get an apprentice yet? They had had pups in the pack, after all. If they had decided to do so, one of they could have been her apprentice, then she would have sent them to retrieve the herb she needed. But no! Aevon left the pack, and Serity was nowhere to be found! At this point, Fang was steaming with irritation. It was Bad timing, then, when it began to snow. Fang froze in place, her private ranting coming to a halt along with it. But that lasted about as long as it took to throw a cat.
"Blast! Not again!" Fang began to run, looking for shelter as the wind picked up. the weather had been like this all afternoon, and it was becoming even more tiresome than the ticks she removed from the pelts of her patients. Fang was thankful that at least there were many caves around here, though it was hard to see where she was going. When she finally found a cave, she was already beside the border of Galaxy pack, which ran beside it. Fang slipped further toward the back of the cave, where there was little to no wind. At least there was finally stone here; now she could heat the air a little. Using her power, she vibrated the molecules just enough to make it habitable, as well as breathable. She looked at a spot on the ground and moved the molecules around until she had made a nice little hallow to lay in. Finally, she curled up there, making sure the air stayed warm, waiting until the storm died down a little. But she never expected to have company, as she was about to receive.

It sure was cold out and the snow was falling hard with the wind whipping it around...and he loved it. Oki could feel the sting of the cold like pricks on his nose, muzzle and cheeks.Having found this place just outside of the Galaxy pack lands, he was glad he did. The snow was deep in some places then it seemed that he would venture onto a well-worn path. Only he had traveled it once before, hense knowing of such a place and enjoying his travels up a trecherous and quite risky mountain. The thought of such risks spoke to him as adventure and fueled his body with adrenaline and anticipation. He bounced from rock to rock to another pathway, plowing his way through the drifts of snow. Coming to a quite large flat area, Oki took a short breather, looking around before looking up once more. His eyes had to keep blinking to keep the snow out of his eyes. The day was quite bright out considering the heavy snowfall. Grinning, he let out a proud chuckle to himself as he lifted a paw to wipe his frosted nose and whiskers. With that, he bounded forward to continue along the path. The air was becoming subtly thinner; he was getting close to his destination.
Where was he going exactly though? Why was he pushing himself to climb to the top of a mountain in the middle of heavy snowfall? Well the reason may be a stupid one to some, but Oki loved the thrill of freefalling. He had found a high cliff on the mountain that was a sheer drop for hundreds of feet. Sure he could just fly up high in the sky then just fall, but to him, this was more fun and he found joy in pushing his limits. Oki was still very young and he took a lot of things in stride, seeing almost everything as a way to train and make himself stronger. Especially with the new role he took, he needed to be on the top of his game and be ready to encounter the strongest of enemies to his home. A protector of not only the Alpha, but the rest of the pack, his family.
Pulling himself up a ledge, his claws scratched at the icy surface. Tongue lolling out of his mouth, puffs of clouds escaped his maw, breathing rapidly. Trotting up the mountain path a little more, he began to pass a group of caves, all seeming vacant; some gave indications that they were longer than others. However, one of the caves felt peculiar as he started to pass it. A inward draft could be felt and he could see snow being gently pulled in. Backpedalling, he peered inside to see if it was something inside causing it. Looking around, Oki padded past the threshold. Shaking out his fur, flurries flew everywhere. Venturing inside, he squinted and tried to make his eyes adjust faster. Perhaps there was an opening that caused this draft; it has piqued his interest and curiousity. Continuing to venture inside, he totally had no idea that anyone was in there, believing it to be vacant as he did with the others. [/color][/size]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: d3d3d3; width: 370px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30;]Live your own life after all, the possibilities are endless As fang waited patiently for the exhausting winds to die down, she began to ponder delicately upon her pack. She didn't really like to be in her particular pack, but... why was that again? Was it only because of the simple matter of her freedom? Was it because of Freya? No, it wasn't her alpha, strangely enough. She disliked Freya for being able to hold a wolf in place, and hated Demon Pack because she knew that if any wolf completely cut ties with it, they would most certainly die a strange death, caused by unknown reasons. Aevon hasn't cut ties yet; he often wanders back into Demon lands to observe the goings on, though he did try to be too far away to recognize by anything but a bird. and if it had been obvious to Fang, it was also obvious to Freya. Freya should know that Aevon was not ready to leave behind Demon pack, which is also why he survived even this long.
Fang was beginning to drowse now, as the warm air was beginning to get to her after the strong cold weather. But if Freya knew, and she had not forced Aevon to come back yet, didn't that mean she wasn't really as evil as others made her out to be? She has never forced any wolf to do anything, and she has never done anything truely worth the accusations thrown at her Alpha. No, Freya was not a bad wolf. In actuality, what she wanted was a utopia, just not the same kind others wanted. The ways of this world could be differed, if the others let things flow in the right way... Well, they would have to gradually get others to see it that way. perhaps if they taught the pups about it, they would adapt to the idea more easily. Yes, the pups would be best. In fact, there was one in Galaxy pack now. Perhaps they could find a way to talk to her about it for a while...? Fang knew this idea was something she needed to bring up with Freya.
Fang paused, her drowsiness fading bit by bit. How she had changed. Only ten moons ago, she would have gladly given up her own life if it meant she could avenge the death of her friend. but since, she had realized that Aiden, in actuality, had attacked unprovoked. In fact, Horjacc and Aiden were getting along before Aiden killed Horjacc! Freya had been right to slay the traitor for turning on his superiors. However, until Aevon saw it that way, he would most likely be lost within his own darkness. She wondered if she would ever get the chance to discuss these things with Freya. In the next moment, her thoughts were interrupted, however, with the smell of a new wolf.
Fang abruptly ceased the warmth temporarily, slowing the molecules to their original speed. She melded herself into the stone for protection and let her eyes be part of the wall. The wolf she found had disturbed her lounging was rather brown and possessed wings, just like Aevon. However, he was not Aevon. Aevon was not as fluffy as this wolf seemed to be. Nor were Aevon's wings possessing feathers such as these. While Aevon possessed the wings of a bat, this wolf poised the wings of a bird. This did not bode well. She waited until the wolf was far enough in to reach the stone. At that point, she pounced. The stone trapped his paws in place, while she materialized herself on the ceiling above him and fell, placing her in the advantageous position of pinning his wings down. "Who are you? What do you want from me?" It was nothing personal, it was just a little trick she was taught to do when she was surprised by something or someone; to turn the tables and surprise the surprise.

The air that was causing the draft wasn't necessarily warm, as he was initially thinking. Usually drafts that came from caves had a warmth to them, being vents to a volcano. This one, however, moved the air that was within, indicating that this cave had another opening somewhere. Perhaps, it could lead to a short cut he could take to get further up the mountain. Only one way to find out, he thought to himself. Moving further and further into the quite large cave, Oki would occasionally put his nose to the ground, seeing if he could sniff anything out. Lifting his head, he snuffed and stood still for a moment. Staying as silent and still as possible, he felt for movements in the air or sounds from the maw of the cavern.
Looking out of the corner of his eye, a glowing type of yellow-orange light seemed to dully illuminate somewhere in the distance. Now, it was really dark and he could barely see much of anything. Rather than running into things, Oki decided to enhance his eyes. Closing his eyes, he triggered his abilities, though without pushing himself too far. A few sparks jumped around his fur before he opened his eyes once more. Sparks disappearing, his eyes have changed from their normal blue to a deep crimson red, the pupils like slits rather than rounded. Looking around, now he could see more clearly and found that the tunnel cave he was in has opened up into a large room. Stalactites and stalagmites dotted along the ceiling and floor. Satisfied with how much brighter it was, Oki continued along. Sniffing along as he went, a bounce was in his step, a half between a trot and a regular walk.
Many minutes have passed since entering the cave and Oki still has yet to find where the draft was coming from. It wasn't like he was on a schedule, but sometimes, he had a short attention span. Slowing to a walk, his paws almost shuffled against the cold stone floor. Eyes wandering, he had no regard or any idea that if anyone else was in here.
Next thing he knew, a paw got stuck on something. Perplexed, he tried to move and all four he couldn't move. "Bloody 'ell...?", complete confusion came over him. Trying harder to move, he almost got a paw out when a heavy weight fall on his back. Oki let out a deep barking yipe that echoed throughout the caverns. Completely caught off guard, he whipped his head around to find another wolf has pounced on top of him. Wanting to roll over or shake himself, he really couldn't as he was stuck in place. Who was this wolf? It had asked him first. Startled out of his wits, he just stared oddly at the stranger instead of answering. After a moment, he answered, trying to figure out what just happened. "What?! I should be asking you the same questions. You're the one who pounced on me." Finding that the other, whom he figured was a female, was hanging onto the bases of his wings, he decided to fix that. Without moving, electrical sparks quickly covered his wings and his branching tails. He could if he wanted to, but the sparks wouldn't hurt the attacker, as she would find. They de-materialized and the sparks disappointing, both his wings and his two tails in question now gone. Now transformed into his wolf form, he continued to look at the female. "I have no idea what you're insinuating...Now get off of me so we can be more civil about this or you'll make me want something from you", glaring, he felt he was threatening the other, but with how the other introduced herself to him, he felt she was more the hostile type and if he wasn't firm, nothing would turn out good from this. There was hardly a chance something good would, but it was worth a try. [/size][/color]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: d3d3d3; width: 370px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30;]Live your own life after all, the possibilities are endless Fang as already on top of him when she had realized he had said something when he got caught in her cemented trap. She did not pay attention to it, however. She was concentrating on her surprise pounce. The other, who seemed to be male by his scent, hesitated before speaking, so she let out a warning growl. But he didn't hesitate too long, as he replied, "What?! I should be asking you the same questions. You're the one who pounced on me." Her pounce had been precise, so she knew that she had not missed his wings. yet, very suddenly, after a curious tickling sensation, they were no longer under her paws. In fact, he no longer had them at all. "Wha...?" she fell on top of him, paws on either side of him. She wasn't as surprised as she would have been normally, but was frustrated with not knowing this wolf's power. She did not let it bother her, however, and moved her front paws back to the previous position. She had noticed, as well, that the other's tails had reduced to one. Despite her caution, this fact caught her interest. He could take away features? Like her?
He did his best to turn toward her, and she stared at him with an angry-looking face, though it was probably dulled into a minor "sizing you up glare" due to her interest. "I have no idea what you're insinuating...Now get off of me so we can be more civil about this or you'll make me want something from you." Fang growled at him again. "Disgusting. You males are all the same." But she did not only see logic in that, but she also was already curious about him, so she slipped away from him. She stayed just out of sight of him so that he wouldn't see what she looked like. She didn't remove the stone trap, however. "Don't you dare try anything." Fang looked him up and down. Now that she thought about it, he did have a Galaxy pack scent. That made her relax, but only slightly. Feather had been Galaxy before a loner. But that didn't mean her pack mates were like her or her brother. "So what is a Galaxy wolf doing here? This is loner lands." Her voice was rather normal; much calmer than what she had previously spoken to this particular wolf.

The ground beneath him seemed like a cement as he paws had somehow adhered to the floor. He continued to wriggle and try to shake his paws free, but to much his dismay, they did not and he stayed stuck there until he found a way to break free. Head turning from side to side, Oki tried to find a way to get a better look at the one that had attacked him. From the scent that wafted in the air, he could tell it was a female, reinforced by her voice. Why had a female been hiding in this dark cave and pounced him. Perhaps this was her home and he intruded on it? Or maybe she was just scared. Either way, he need to tell her at least not to be afraid of him, nothing of the such was his intention.
"Oof!", a grunt escaped him when he felt her weight plop onto his back as he retracted his wings and shifted into his wolven form. Eyes continued to glare back at hers. Contrary to her belief, he could very well see what she looked like with his current eyes. The femme was a smoky grey with green eyes, much like his mates. Not many other features could stand to him at the moment as he really wasn't trying to pay to much else attention.
Oki defensively growled back at the wolfess. Her comment wasn't well liked by him. He hated those that categorized and stereotyped. Though, finally she slid off his back and away from him. His eyes narrowed at her, continuing to watch her every move. Heh, he was just thinking the same thing she said. How could he though? Oki couldn't help but laugh, "You really think I can in this mess?", he lied; he probably could think of a way to release himself from the rock beneath him.
How did she know he was Galaxy? Perhaps his scent, though being relatively new, he was surprised slightly. Inhaling, she had a different scent that he hasn't smelled before. He kept that bit of info to himself and instead rebuked her statement. "This may be loner lands, but it is just outside the Galaxy pack lan. I come here to train, if you must be nosy. I honestly didn't think anyone liked the cold and harsh conditions as much as I did...Why is this your cave?", he over enunciated the word 'your', not really caring if it really was hers or not. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: d3d3d3; width: 370px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30;]Live your own life after all, the possibilities are endless He attempted to pull his feet from the ground, seemingly frustrated. The other wolf seemed... intelligent... in a weird sort of idiotic way, if that were possible. There was a little more to the wolf before her than first glance. Though he seemed threatening, that isn't what she got from his personality. he was actually nicer than some of the others she had met. It was because of this, then, that his growls didn't bother her. She had received worse threats from a rabid squirrel, after all. "You really think I can in this mess?" He snapped at her. Fang merely laughed and replied, "Yes." She watched him for a bit. She didn't really notice that he could see her; only thought he was trying to. He attempted to get out again. Fang was slightly amused at his attempts at trying to escape. "Don't bother. I've melded your paws with the rock. If you try to break the stone, you'll break your paws."
The more she was in this wolf's presence, the more she felt she understood him. His disposition was almost like Arch, but not. He had his own aura about him, as all creatures did. "This may be loner lands, but it is just outside the Galaxy pack land. I come here to train, if you must be nosy. I honestly didn't think anyone liked the cold and harsh conditions as much as I did...Why is this your cave?" Fang lifted one eyebrow. "Why would you care? Interested in buying?" She was joking, of course. "I only came here to get out of the blasted storm. I actually hate the cold, and truth be told, i'm glad i live near a swamp, disgusting as it may be. It's nice and warm there." She hesitated. "You're new, aren't you? That's why you don't recognize my scent." Fang chuckled. Alright, i'll let you out. On one condition." she hesitated. Then she stood up and looked at her tail. Only, something else seemed to be growing next to it. When it was complete, she moved so that he didn't have to crane his neck to try seeing her. "Tell me, where did you come from? And did your world get destroyed like mine?" She perked up her two tails so that he could see, then removed her second tail again, relaxing the first one. She was genuinly curious, but was prepared for an attack at any moment, now that she was in full view of him.

Whenever this female would look away, Oki would then keep his eyes locked on her, but try to see if he could break free from this...trap he was put in. It really was and he never thought one would be here in a deserted, or so he thought, cave. He just let his guard fall too much and now he regretted it. Though, he knew that it was possible to escape from this, somehow. Oki just wondered how the femme figured out that he could...or did she just say it to test him? He couldn't tell for sure just yet. Enlightenment washed over him as she followed to explain how she had adhered his paws to the rock and the repercussions if he were to even try. Well, that just made him grin. It just raised his curiosity and to test her confidence in her abilities and to test the limits of his own. A trick was tucked away under his scarf however; his bones couldn't break.
"Perhaps", Oki furthered the female's joke with a quirk of his brow and a small jerk of his neck. It had seemed she relaxed some around him. Maybe it was because they both knew it was a big misunderstanding...albeit her freeing him from her trap. Maybe he reminded her of someone she knew.
The idea of living in a swamp did seem disgusting, mainly for the fact it was warm. He hated places that were overly warm and humid. The summer he could usually bare with, though he would usually become lethargic on the days that were really hot and stay in his den. "Well, I suppose we're quite the opposites then. I can't handle warm places", Oki scrunched his nose when she mentioned her living in a swamp. When she asked that he was new and found that he didn't recognized her scent, Oki ignored her and didn't respond, not wanting to give information that was in her favor. The only thing he did was narrow his eyes at her. Then suddenly, he perked up, ears erect as she mentioned she would let him out. But what was the condition? Blackmail? Hazing? Torture? Bad things came to mind, though he was confident enough that if something like that was the condition, he would be able to force his way out.
Eyeing her, she started to move and a tail began to sprout from her rump. Looking back at her as she spoke, he figured that was her condition. Why would she ask him something like that? He could tell her a lie and say his life was fine and dandy or the truth and tell her that he has had rough times in the past decades. He thought for a moment, gathering what he wanted to say. Drawing in a deep breath, he let it out before he began, "Fine, I'll tell you...I come from a pack far north, at the top of the world where even humans weren't less than a day's travel away. It snowed almost every day and blizzards were common....And you ask did my world get destroyed like yours? Depends on your definition of 'destroyed' and I do not like to compare my background to other's, but if you must know, yes, I consider that my world has been destroyed. Thirty-two years ago, on my first birthday, my parents were killed by our Alpha. Know that they had done nothing wrong...our Alpha was very...disturbed and psychotic and very narcissistic. He was spiteful in his actions and was very suppressive to us collectively. All of my pack ignored his spiteful actions, but I couldn't no longer when he murdered my parents. After he did, he banned me from the pack just on the grounds of 'disliking' my presence. I almost died in those sub-zero temperatures, though I was found by an allied pack that I had wandered near and they took care of me for a few years. After, I had ventured on my own...", he took a moment to pause and let her process. "Roughly twenty years later, the same Alpha that had thrown me out, had took it upon himself to search me out and kill me, stating that he should have a long time ago while I was still young. At that time, I carried the choice to avenge my parents and free my home of his reign. After which, I took this information myself to my old home....I could write you a book that tells my history, but I don't want to bore you with the details. Though I do hope I have told you enough for what you wanted." By telling his story in a nutshell, Oki felt himself ease up some and felt somewhat vulnerable for the time being; he always did whenever he told about himself.
Letting out a sigh, Oki lifted his head to look at the female once more, "I suppose it wouldn't make a difference in me telling you my name at this point; I am Okamiimaru Doashi...If you don't mind me inquiring, would you mind telling me a little about yourself?", he almost expected she would as he did so with her. She didn't need to reveal everything, but something to the effect of answering her own questions, at least he hoped she would. [/blockquote][/size]

(OOC:the bones were melded to the stone as well, not just the paws. His bones technically didn't break; they just became part of the rock. he is literally part of the rock right now, though he can't move the stone.)[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: d3d3d3; width: 370px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30;]Live your own life after all, the possibilities are endless Fang snorted at his attempts at adding to the joke. It was a valiant effort, but not really funny. She was actually more annoyed at the moment than she let on. In fact, she had completely suppressed this emotion outwardly, so it was no wonder Oki didn't notice. She also felt somewhat sorry for him, another emotion which she completely repressed. The poor Male had been minding his own business, but she had been startled by him. then again, he should have known better than to sneak up on her. So it was technically his fault, not hers. She also was somewhat annoyed with herself for mixing him in with all male wolves. she knew very well that not all of them were like that, only a few, however, growing up with a demonic father and mean pack mates can do that to you.
His comment on how they were complete opposites left her unfazed. She could have figured that out without seeing him as a backwards mirror. "Actually, the swamp isn't disgusting because of the humidity. If you want to see what i mean, you should take a look sometime." On the other hand, not answering one of her questions did annoy her a little, even though she already knew the answer to the question she asked. She knew for a fact that he was new, as she had never before smelled his scent on any other wolf. also, his Galaxy Pack scent was recent, but hadn't quite mixed with his natural scent quite yet. so even if he wanted to fool her, he couldn't have. his squinting at her only confirmed her suspicions. "Oh, don't look at me like that. I figured you were new. i've been here since I was a pup."
She noticed in his demeanor that he was expecting something horrible, not simple as a condition. seriously, what kind of wolf did he take her for? she wasn't that bad. She was sure he had come across worse; Fang had, after all. When Okami started his story, Fang listened intently. She was extremly curious about him, as he had more than one tail, like on her own destroyed world back in her dimension. But as he continued on, she was more and more disappointed. firstly because he was from somewhere up north. secondly, cause he had lived waaaay longer than wolves on her planet did. She had been completely perked and was standing when he began his story, but was sitting and twitching her ears when he finished. it was extremely noticable how disappointed she was, as she had been wholeheartedly hoping for another of her own world.
Okami asked her about her own history then, "Hm? Oh... well, hang on a moment. Also, whatever energy you're using, you can stop, as i'm abut to turn up the lighting." She released the other's feet and heated up the stone a bit, then suddenly there was a wood fire on the ground and a vent that snaked through the rock above the fire so the smoke had somewhere to go. However, she never turned her back on him, not even once. "You've done as i've asked, and i'm true to my word. You may leave if you wish, but if you do, i won't have anyone to tell my story to." Her eyes were now kinder, as hey normally were. "Truthfully, I feel somewhat bad for how i treated you. but if you're willing to listen to my story, you'll understand why."
She allowed another dip to be formed into the rock, almost as if it were worn down a bit, then a nest of moss and feathers materialized into place both where her spot was, and where the other spot on the other side of the fire was. She lay down in her spot and stared at him, waiting for him to decide.

((OoC: I know his bones didn't break; they literally can't. They're covered in 1/4" thick in an alloy metal that's stronger than tungsten and lighter than titanium. They're virtually unbreakable. And even if they are a part of the rock, I'm sure he could break himself free one way or another because of the lack of risk of breaking his paws in the first place xD)) By no means was this situation that he was in his fault. Though then again, he supposed that he should have been more aware that another was present inside of the cave. Rather than pointing claws at each other, he just figured that it was all a big misunderstanding and just hoped that he would soon be able to escape, either by her releasing him or by his own means. Meanwhile, he still tested to see how strong the hold was and tried to figure out how exactly he was connected with the rock floor. Rather than panicking or being annoyed with himself, he saw it as a challenge and really didn't think about the gravity of the situation.
It had seemed that she hadn't understood his explaination of how he doesn't like hot places. Shaking his head after she had responded, he tried to elaborate further, "It's not that I think it's disgusting because of the humidity. My body isn't made to handle warm and humid places. I'm sure if it was cool enough, I would find it to be an interesting place", he shrugged. Oki really didn't mind the fact it was a swamp, just the climate he couldn't handle.
Puffing his cheeks as he glared from the corner of his eye, it had seemed that she figured out he was new to the Galaxy. Oki preferred to keep his placement in groups hidden from others that he didn't know. He was hoping to keep it hidden from her as well, but he supposed she was far to observant and he underestimated that aspect of her. By now, he shouldn't as she has proven herself dangerously capable of being a formidable foe. This is why he always tried to get others on their good side so he wouldn't have to face them as an opponent. "Ahh...Well, I suppose I can't hide it any longer then...", he submitted, not really having anything else to say, nor couldn't think of much else.
Having told his story to her, a long sigh followed, feeling like he has cleansed himself of a sin. Everytime he told his story to someone, it always mellowed him out, recalling his old memories. Tongue rubbed the roof of his mouth as his nose wrinkled, trying recompose himself. Taking one final deep inhale, he looked upwards at the female to ask her of her history. But as he did, her expression became more sad and quesioning. Curious, he wondered if he had told her something she didn't want to hear or told her too much. Figuring as much even before he had began, Oki closed his eyes to try not to think that he did something wrong himself as he knew he really didn't; he had just told his story.
Agreeing to tell about herself, he was confused about her assumption that he was using energy. He really wasn't; it was just his eyes, but no energy was being released externally to do so. Confused, he was curious if it was just an assumption or she had some powerful insight or was a sensory type. Though finally released, Oki was relieved and wiggled his toes and claws, taking a seat on the cold stone floor. Rubbing his paw pads together, he hadn't quite registered her caution and suddenly there was something bright in front of him. Surprised, his eyes closed shut and he held a forearm in front of him to sheild him from the brightness, squinting to readjust to the light. Blinking repeatedly, he finally grew accustomed to it and his pupils had become thin slits of black against a crimson iris. Its not that these eyes were made for darkness, they reacted to light/dark changes like any other eye, but a good thing was they readjusted quicker than normal eyes. Choosing to keep his better eyes activated, it added insight and quicker reflexes to his judgement. Seeing the fire, he was oddly confused at how it just materialized...or did she just have firewood nearby? Finally settling down, she had explained herself to him about her story. Finding himself nodding as she finished talking, eyes were closed until he opened them to look at her, "Aye, I'm willing to listen...You owe me some sort of explaination for all this", he chuckled,"Now that you know who I am...which reminds me, I don't believe you've told me yours", he did truly figure she did owe him at least something, after knowing all this about him and he still has yet to know almost nothing about her. It was then more things began to appear from the ground; moss grew within mere seconds. Figuring all this was her doing, he wondered what exactly she had control over. It almost made him afraid to come across her as an enemy. Looking back and forth from her and to the moss patch, then back at her, he didn't know what to think. Touching the moss, then withdrawing quickly, he did this a few more times just to make sure it wasn't a trick of hers. Settling a paw onto it, he continued to put his weight onto it. Finally sitting on it, he chose to lie down, but on his belly and he kept his head up, looking over at her, still a little wary. After a little hesitation, he muttered, "Thanks."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: d3d3d3; width: 370px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30;]Live your own life after all, the possibilities are endless Fang raised an eyebrow at Oki, choosing not to respond to the fact that he couldn't handle the climate in general. she could handle the climate. she just despised the dead-looking area of her pack's territory. the swamp area was like glue and quicksand, while the river was completely run with blood. the trees? they looked as if they hadn't gotten water in many moons. it had looked that way since before she had come here, and she always hated it more than anything.
When she had mentioned about her living there since she was a pup, his response was, "Ahh...Well, I suppose I can't hide it any longer then..." She sniffed triumphantly at that. "Indeed not." It was a small victory, true, but at least it made Fang feel better. Okami's ending reaction after telling his story was also interesting. He seemed, to her, somewhat vulnerable, and also seemed to know it. She understood completely why he felt that way. though she doubted he would admit the same until she told him her story. So she waited for him to settle down. she found it slightly more amusing to watch him attempt to settle, however. He was cautious, which was why he was amusing to her. He did a little dance, or what looked like a dance, as he seemed to be ready to spring a trap. but when he finally settled, she couldn't resist laughing. "It's just moss!" she rolled over, still laughing. "I control molecules! It's genuine moss from a cave not five miles from here. Smell it, it's fine!" Fang laughed a little longer, then sat back up. "You're funny," Fang exclaimed. "I feel really bad for doing that to you now. Thanks for the laugh, though. I swear on the grave of my mother that I will not bring you harm this day," she added.
She settled down more, then sort of leaned to one side, completely relaxed, but still watching Okami just in case. After all, he hadn't promised the same. "Well, where should I start? Well, i supposed the beginning is always good. my story actually starts with my mother. She had a similar power to mine, which is how she could safely transport to different dimensions. My mother was actually from this world, this planet. My father, however, was not. My mother accidentally landed in the packlands of my father's while making a jump, which she usually tried to avoid. However, my father knew the instant she came. My father's world was already on the verge of destruction then. My father had hoped to spread his seed before the end. He declared my mother, who's powers were perfectly in his advantage, the perfect mate, and forcefully brought her back to his den. She could never escape because his power was the All-Seeing Eye, which allowed him to see everything anywhere. He quickly impregnated her, and soon after, i was born. My siblings had all died in the womb, and i was the only one left. I was also born with the power I have. Realizing that my kind mother would never submit willingly to him and that he had me, he executed my mother within a week."
Fang had to pause there, as by that time, she was on the verge of tears. but she continued, her voice as steady as when she began. "My father raised me to be obedient, and had great consequences for those who did not obey. Usually, it was death." Fang shuddered at the remembrance. "And most died painfully. If he told me to kill, I would obey, because that's how he trained me since i was born. His pack, however, perished with that world when i was five moons. He ordered me to transport the two of us to this valley. We waited for a moon, observing. at six moons, I finally introduced my father and I to the packs. That was two and a half years ago. We stayed as loners for a while, but soon after joined a pack, which i was unwilling to join as I am to be there now. Demon Pack." She grimaced, guessing his reaction. "in demon pack, i met few males that were kind. two at most. all other males i had met were as cruel as my father. I became their healer, as I was trained from a pup to control my powers, and was very good at it. I could easily close a wound with a mere thought. My father died two years ago. But his spirit has since haunted every step i've taken." she was staring into the fire at this point, not wanting him to hate her for her pack, but happy to have, at last, told her story. though it wasn't to a friend, as she had expected, rather, to a stranger. though she supposed that was why it was easy. if she tld a friend this, she may lose him/her. but a stranger doesn't matter much, because they're just someone you were passing by anyway. Fang seemed slightly in a daze. Her eyes and markings were glowing slightly when she said, "My name is Dark Fang, and that is my story."

Of course Oki would act wary around Fang at this point. She had a fire and a perfect moss bedding appear out of nowhere, how would anyone act calmly about that? Gears started to turn in his head, putting two and two together about how his feet were stuck to the rock and how she materialized a burning fire and the moss beds. He doubted she could control living organisms, or that well at least...he hoped. Even still, her potential was dangerous and he remained ever cautious around her, especially of her affiliations.
Finally settling down, all's her response was a fit of laughter. Her stating the obvious to her own understanding made him annoyed a little. Of course she knew it was genuine moss, but he didn't. Hell, he didn't know what would happen next, let alone what was what anymore. All the while she indulged herself in laughter, Oki sat, staring upwards, biting his lip in slight contempt. Though not sincere in his thoughts, he wished her to stop laughing at him. However, when she apologized and made a promise, Oki finally looked over to her and puffed his cheeks, "I am - was clueless of how you did all this; at a loss, I was...Though manipulating matter sounds like a lot of responsibility...Seems like there should be heavy repercussions", he finished the last portion as a thought to himself and didn't vocalize it. Though, he would be soon to realize that her abilities made a little more sense. "Don't worry...I won't harm you either. Just don't provoke me", he chuckled a little, "I'll get you back, though", he thought to himself as she apologized, conjuring up a prank to get her back and for something for him to laugh at. Meanwhile, he sniffed at the moss and indeed it smelled like traditional moss, even having a musk/damp scent to it; it smelled lovely he thought.
Watching her settle down, though keeping an eye on her as did she on him, Oki slowly lowered his head down onto his front paws as they crossed. His wings rested to his sides and his tails wrapped around one of his sides. Finding himself comfy, she had begun her story. Ears turning forward, he listened intently and focused to hear every word. As the female continued to tell, he felt pity for her and for how she was treated though he knew that wouldn't change anything. He found it intriguing though that her mother traveled between dimensions and that she could as well. When he found that she became a part the Demon Pack, his expression lit up a little, surprised of how she did. Remaining passive, he was sympathetic and perhaps a little empathetic, feeling he could relate a little. Finishing, he watched her now as she stared into the fire. Even the air around them mellowed as compared to the situation beforehand. It was quiet, then she stated her name. Dark Fang. A unique name, the thought. Remaining quiet, he looked at her once more, waiting until she looked back. When she did, he offered a small, comforting smile. Eyes falling afterwards, he inhaled deeply, "I don't hate you...I don't even consider you an enemy. The only enemies that I have are ones that prove themselves as enemies to me... And I don't think you've done that....Know that I sincerely sympathize for you, Dark Fang and even though the past cannot be changed, at least you can control your future. Don't hold your history in contempt; rather understand and learn from it. Do what you want to do and not what you feel like others want you to do...whether living or not", he paused, allowing her to process what he said. Eyes lifted to look at her as he spoke and he blinked a few times as he paused, looking away then back at her, "I don't see you as a bad wolf either. I will tell you that I'm not and you can believe what you want. I want you to see that yourself...It doesn't phase me you're part of the Demon...but what does bother me is the reason why you're still there...to me it sounds like you're not exactly happy with your home", Oki tilted his head to the side a little as he finished his question. Lifting his head, he switched his paws and recrossed them, resting his chin back upon them. By this time, he allowed his enhanced vision to recede. The crimson iris faded into a deep blue while the pupil rounded back. [/blockquote][/size]
