It was that time of the month again. The time that Celeste needed to disband her near vegetarian diet and hunt for actual food. Meat food. She hated the process, but her body needed the protein.
Effortlessly, Celeste ran through the forest with speed and grace. She dodged from tree to tree, rock to rock. She stopped suddenly when her ears picked up a sound. Her body grew still except the beating of her heart which caused her chest to slightly rise and fall. Her ears twitched again, but towards the direction of the sound. It was to the right.
Her head turned slowly towards the right and her body arched towards the ground. She crept up closer and closer to the object. She finally leaped and snatched the small deer with her jaw and with a snap of the neck, it was dead.
Some might call hunting a beautiful process, but Celeste hated it. She hated taking another life just to sustain her own. Other wolves looked at her with confusion when she told them that, but she easily ignored them. She didn't care what they thought. They had their choices, and she had hers.
Celeste dragged her meal to a secluded spot in between two trees. This was her favorite spot because of it. Hardly anyone knew that this existed, and the purple wolf would like to keep it that way.
She silently munched on her food, savory the taste of the animals flesh. She loved and missed the taste in her mouth. She knew that this was needed in her body so that she could have the proper strength and endurance to run her pack. But that wasn't going to happen. Not now at least. Now? She was just going to eat her food in peace.

Wolves had been here a while ago their scent old. Deer and other tasty creatures had also passed through her, their scent much stronger.
Looking at the galaxy healer had no idea where she was. Yes the winged wolf was indeed lost. This was definitely not part of her pack's lands. She sniffed the air, strange scents were here, strange wolves, ones she had never met and they were strong. Was she worried, yes she was but she was also curious. Perhaps these wolves weren't bad, perhaps they were friendly.
Treading carefully, Caoilainn's tail swished lazily as she lowered her nose to the ground, seeking out those that she had smelt. And then it hit her, the smell of blood coming from somewhere to her right. She followed it and that was where she came across another wolf. Indeed one she had not yet met. "My apologises ma'am," she spoke, bowing her head low to the ground, showing her submissiveness, "It appears that i have wandered too far from my pack lands and i'm afraid i have gotten myself lost."[/style] [STYLE=font-size:10px; padding-left: 12px; font-weight: bold]words: too lazy to count tags: celeste/open notes: n/a credit: template made by oxymoron! of btn[/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign, top][atrb=style, width:400px, bTable][style=text-align:center;width:100px; font-family:courier new; font-size:10px; line-height:13px; border: 2px #0cb0e0 solid; width: 100px; height: 100px;][/style]

Feral entered the hunting grounds like a red rocket, racing after every piece of game he saw, not necessarily trying to catch them for food. He got lucky during his game and caught a small rabbit by surprise. The meal was light, but good enough for him as he roamed around the area that would now serve as his home. He'd been around for awhile, just looking at the sites, and didn't notice too many others occupying the territory.
However, a new scent caught his attention while chasing after another rabbit and he quickly changed his direction towards it. Feral managed to catch up with the stranger in a matter of minutes, but hide himself anyway since they seemed distracted. He suddenly got the idea to surprise the intruder for a joke and jumped from the bushes with some of his hairs lite on fire. "WHO GOES THERE?!" He landed on his feet and gave as aggressive of a growl as he could muster, but his mask cracked and he fell to the ground laughing before seeing the wolf's reaction.
After an annoyingly long period of laughing, Feral rolled back onto his feet and shook the tears from his eyes. "Hehehe... Sorry about that. Just havin' a little with ya." Then, he began to look more closely and noticed another female that looked like the alpha he had only seen from afar. His ears lowered themselves and he gave a nervous grin towards his superior fearing that he had gotten himself in trouble. "H-Hiya, Boss... Didn't see ya sitting there. This your g-guest?"

Celeste was almost finished with her meal when a sound alerted her senses once again. She froze and stood up slowly. It smelled like wolf, yet it wasn't any of her own. This was an intruder. A growl started to erupt in her throat as she instinctively not only protected her food, but her land as well.
Just then, the intruder came forward. Celeste narrowed her eyes in suspicion and listened to her words. She listened to her words carefully and her defense immediately fell. "Ahh. I see. Since you are lost, I will let this by, for now." She looked her up and down and noticed that she's never seen her before. "You are new, no? What pack are you from?" She guessed that she must have been from the Galaxy Pack. The Demon pack members weren't this polite. That, and she didn't have the darkness about her like most do.
Celeste's ears picked up another sound and she sighed. It was none other than Feral. His attempt to try to scare them failed, but it was funny nonetheless. She smiled softly at him. "Hello Feral. Enjoying yourself I see?" She looked over to who he claimed her guest and gave a side nod. "This female landed on our lands. She was lost, and she has yet to give us her name?" She smiled and looked expectantly at the she-wolf for a name and pack.

She had no reason to take her food, nor did she want to but the growl made her shrink lower to the ground before rolling onto her back, her wings spread either side of her. She exposed her throat, showing she meant no harm. The white wold gulped, hoping that the this wolf was not one of the terrible demon pack members she had heard about. Maybe she was and maybe she was about to breath her last breath. But instead of a fatal blow, she recieved words.
"Ahh. I see. Since you are lost, I will let this by, for now. You are new, no? What pack are you from?". She never got the chance to speak as another wolf appeared, his voice booming before erupting into laughter. What a strange wolf, she thought as she glanced up to see the male wolf.
So the other female was indeed the alpha of these lands, at least she had shown respect, they had to give her credit for that. The male was named Feral, yet she still had no idea what pack this was.
"This female landed on our lands. She was lost, and she has yet to give us her name?" Crap she thought, sheepishly smiling at the alpha. Slowly rolling back onto her paws, she shook the dirt that clung to her fur. "Again my apologises, i'm being terribly rude. I'm Caoilainn, the healer for the Galaxy Pack. I mean no harm to you or your pack, ma'am," she spoke to the alpha of these lands, yet was still trying to work out what rank Feral was and what pack lands she had stumbled upon.[/style] [STYLE=font-size:10px; padding-left: 12px; font-weight: bold]words: too lazy to count tags: celeste/feral/open notes: n/a credit: template made by oxymoron! of btn[/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign, top][atrb=style, width:400px, bTable][style=text-align:center;width:100px; font-family:courier new; font-size:10px; line-height:13px; border: 2px #0cb0e0 solid; width: 100px; height: 100px;][/style]

Once he figured out that he wasn't in trouble with his alpha, Feral quickly recovered from his nervousness and moved in closer to the two. His tail wagged from side to side in an anxious manner, like it always did, as he decided to poke fun at the foreign female. "Well, that's good to hear. Means I won't have to fight ya in front of the boss." He lowered his front legs in a mocking position and scrambled back and forth mimicking a play fight.
When he saw that the female wouldn't play along, he got back to his feet and gave a lighthearted shrug. "You're lose..." Feral pranced back towards his alpha and circled a few times before settling down. He was more energetic than usually since there was a new wolf in the area after months of isolation.
He turned back to the newcomer and shot her another friendly grin. "So, do ya need directions or somethin'? Cause, right now, you're in Crystal Country." He didn't really know the area well enough to give her any directions, but his single-tract mind didn't think of that.

"Apology accepted." Celeste stated simply. She wasn't upset with the female, not anymore at least. She knew that she wasn't here for anything harmful, so Celeste was calm. And the fact that she didn't roam in her territory on purpose calmed her even more. She can be a little too overprotective, but it was a trait she was not willing to give up or scold about herself.
"Healer of the Galaxy Pack, interesting..." I would think the healer should at least know the lands, Celeste thought to herself. She automatically felt a kinship to the female wolf for she once was a healer too. She wondered who was the alpha for Galaxy. The rank often changes not only in the Galaxy Pack, but in all the other packs too. There has not been a Peace Gathering in a long time, so Celeste had no way of knowing who was who anymore.
Celeste shook her head at Feral's comment. "I would prefer no fighting at all," she said quietly to herself. But she knew that fighting was a part of a wolf's nature. "And there is no need. She is a guest now, and we do not fight our guests, do we Feral?" She smirked and walked back to her meal. She offered it to Feral in case he wanted it. She was finished with it and hated wasting food. The animal shouldn't have to die in vain.
She eyed to female curiously, and waited for her to either accept or reject Feral's offer when a thought occurred to her. "Oh, how rude of me. I should have introduced myself as well. I am Celeste, alpha of the Crystal pack. And this is Feral, a fine warrior of these lands. Welcome."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: d3d3d3; width: 370px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30;]It's better to be hated for what you are Than loved for what you're not Serala only just entered the territory. She had not yet met the alpha or warriors, nor had she come across any loners. She was not yet beta, either. No one would know her now, just barely stepping into the territory her mother once spoke to her about. Satisfied by the scent that she had passed through the border and into Pack territory, Serala paused to glance around and observe some of her surroundings. Serala watched as the trees continuously and noticeably glowed. She closed her eyes, breathing in and out deeply, feeling the aura of the earth around here. Yes, this was the land her mother once spoke of; it were as if the land wished to share its energy with the rest of the world. Serala could even tell exactly the source of this deep power from where she was.
Serala allowed the energy to flow into her, feeling the exhaustion from her long trek fading with the light breeze. Serala loved this feeling. She had merely spent a minute in this place, and already loved it. She understood her mother's sorrow for having to leave this land, and also finally recognized just how much Kokoda had meant to Iceflame in order to leave this place behind to find him. Serala smiled sadly, remembering the face her mother had whenever she thought of Serala's father. She wished her mother had been able to come with her in body, as well as in spirit. "Don't be sad, little one. Know that i am always with you, my sweet, just as I am with the earth and skies." Iceflame's voice drifted to her ears, unheard by any but Serala. Serala opened her eyes, straightening herself. Her mother was right. It was not the end of a wolf when they died, but the beginning of a new life.
Serala prepared herself for anything, and then continued on. It was rather surprising when it didn't take long for her to come across the voices of others; she had expected not to run into anyone until the area around the den, at the very least. Serala halted, suspicious. There may not be friendly wolves in this small gathering. However, Serala was just as curious as she was cautious, so she sneaked around, being sure the wind was blowing toward herself so as not to alert any others. She recognized two scents immediately, as they smelled similarly to her mother when Serala was young. however, the third was unfamiliar still, and she wished to understand to the intentions of this other wolf before announcing her presence. She got her answer almost immediately, too.
The unfamiliar wolf was currently speaking; "Again my apologises, i'm being terribly rude. I'm Caoilainn, the healer for the Galaxy Pack. I mean no harm to you or your pack, ma'am," The next to speak was a wolf with a purple hue to her fur. "Healer of the Galaxy Pack, interesting..." Finally the male of the group spoke, who also seemed to be most excitable. "Well, that's good to hear. Means I won't have to fight ya in front of the boss." 'The boss' didn't seem to like that idea anyway. "I would prefer no fighting at all. And there is no need. She is a guest now, and we do not fight our guests, do we Feral?" Feral had been in a playful position after he had spoken and now straightened up, speaking to Caoilainn, shrugging cheerfully. "Your loss..." he circled around to his 'Boss'. "So, do ya need directions or somethin'? Cause, right now, you're in Crystal Country." The more authoritative wolf seemed to remember something. "Oh, how rude of me. I should have introduced myself as well. I am Celeste, alpha of the Crystal pack. And this is Feral, a fine warrior of these lands. Welcome."
Serala perked up in slight shock. Celeste! She was supposed to be Healer, not Alpha! A lot must have happened after Iceflame left. Now that Serala finally knew one of the wolves, she realized by the way the three talked that there really wasn't anything bad happening here. Serala quietly stepped out from her hiding spot. "Pardon the interruption. I believe I have heard enough to know none of you will bring me harm. I do also apologize for entering this land without permission. However, i have traveled far and long to find this valley. My name is Serala, and my mother, Iceflame, who sends her best to you, Celeste, was once alpha of Crystal Pack. I came here to join that pack, if you'd allow me, and to honor my mother's name with the service I lend you."

Did she not believe her, or was she after the identity of her alpha so that she could go and scold him, perhaps teach him a lesson for letting her wander from the pack lands. On one hand she didnt want to bring any sort of harm to her alpha, but on the other she didnt want to be disrespectful to this one either. "My alpha goes by the name Grizzly," she spoke, perhaps this alpha knew of him, maybe they had been old friends?
The winged wolf chuckled. Feral sure seemed to be very energetic, even when his alpha told him off, saying that she preferred no fighting. She had to agree with the alpha, she didnt like fighting one bit. Of course that didnt mean she couldnt fight, she just wasnt the best in her pack. The white wolf was about to answer Feral, thanking the wolves above silently that it was indeed the crystal pack she had stumbled on when the alpha spoke up again.
"Oh, how rude of me. I should have introduced myself as well. I am Celeste, alpha of the Crystal pack. And this is Feral, a fine warrior of these lands. Welcome." Of course an alpha had the choice of whether to introduce herself or himself to others or not and she was once again grateful that Celeste confirmed that this was indeed the crystal pack. "I thought i might have accidently stumbled onto the demon lands, i've heard those wolves are horrid," she started, "I'm glad that i havent though and it is a pleasure to meet you both."
Yet again before she could answer Feral's question about directions, another wolf showed up.
I came here to join that pack, if you'd allow me, and to honor my mother's name with the service I lend you." The red wolf wasnt in a pack, but she claimed she was the daughter of a previous alpha. Curious, Caoilainn thought, wouldnt she have stayed with the pack? Caoilainn looked over at Feral, perhaps now wasnt the best time to get those directions and so she remained quiet, watching the other three wolves.[/style] [STYLE=font-size:10px; padding-left: 12px; font-weight: bold]words: 425 tags: celeste/feral/serala/open notes: n/a credit: template made by oxymoron! of btn[/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign, top][atrb=style, width:400px, bTable][style=text-align:center;width:100px; font-family:courier new; font-size:10px; line-height:13px; border: 2px #0cb0e0 solid; width: 100px; height: 100px;][/style]

After being introduced by his alpha, Feral got back onto his feet and humorously played the part of the noble warrior with a bow. But, he was back to his fighting stance soon enough when he heard a sudden russling to his left and saw another female walk out. His first thought was that her coat matched his in an obvious way, but was brought back to reality when she began to speak.
Once Feral learn about her intentions and rank, he eased up a bit on his threatening form. Instead, he looked towards his alpha for some kind of conformation about what she was requesting. When it was clear that she wasn't going to give him one, he decided to take the girl at face value and moved in closer. "Well, it sure nice to meet ya! Hehehe! Though you shouldn't go hidin' in bushes like that, you'll scare somebody."
Completely oblivious to the reference he just made to his prior actions, Feral circled around the wolf that claimed to be his new beta. After sizing her up a bit, he decided that he wasn't displeased with a new arrangement and returned to his alpha's side. "Well, your first order of business should be to meet the boss herself." He gestured his head towards the alpha and grinned widely as a joke came to mind. "If you're nice, I'll give ya a good recommendation."

Celeste's ear picked up yet another sound. It came from her left and she turned to eye a bright red wolf, sort of like Feral and...
"Iceflame?"
She hopped from her position and went up to the wolf. She looked her up and down. The wolf then claimed to be Iceflame's daughter, not the original. Her heart immediately melted for her. "Iceflame mated..." Celeste didn't have to guess with what wolf either. Chances are that she found Kokoda and mated with him.
Celeste wagged her tail and nuzzled the newcomer. She even smelled like Iceflame. "Since you are Iceflame's seed, you are more than welcomed to join, Serala. Tell me, how is she?" She looked around and sniffed the air. Surely her mother would be here as well.
She then turned her head towards Caoilainn. When she spoke, Celeste smiled at her. "Oh, Grizzly. I've heard great things about him but never have gotten the chance to meet him. Send him my greetings." Hopefully a Peace Gathering will be held soon so that she may meet other wolves both new and old.
A low growl errupted in her throat. The thought of the Demon Pack brought anger upon the naturally calm wolf. Memories of the past Demon pack destroying her family brought rage in her. But she forced herself to calm and be strong in front of her pack. "Indeed. They are." She said through gritted teeth.
She was glad Feral spoke up again to lighten the mood. She looked back to Serala and nodded her head towards the group. "Join us. We were just conversing. Here is some meat if you would like to eat." She nodded towards the foreign wolf. "She is Caoilainn, the healer of the Galaxy Pack."

After glancing at Celeste, he stepped closer in interest. "Well, it sure nice to meet ya! Hehehe! Though you shouldn't go hidin' in bushes like that, you'll scare somebody." he circled around her, sizing her up, then seeing no problems, returned to his previous spot beside his Alpha. "Well, your first order of business should be to meet the boss herself." as an afterthought, he joked, "If you're nice, I'll give ya a good recommendation." Serala smiled at him slyly, then returned her attention back to Celeste.
"Iceflame?" Celeste jumped down from her perch to examine her more closely, with much interest. "Iceflame mated..." She began wagging her tail. "Since you are Iceflame's seed, you are more than welcomed to join, Serala. Tell me, how is she?" Serala did not know how to answer Celeste at first. Her feelings after her mother died resurfaced, and her smile faded. Iceflame had been a good mother, and by Celeste's reaction, Iceflame had also been a good friend and Alpha as well. Serala looked down at the ground, taking an interest in her paws. She supposed, that since Celeste had been a friend, she deserved the truth. She waited until the alpha returned her attention to Sera before answering any of her questions. When the Alpha began speaking again, she looked up into her face, a sad look in her eyes. "Join us. We were just conversing. Here is some meat if you would like to eat. Caoilainn, the healer of the Galaxy Pack." Serala nodded to Caoilainn. "I'm afraid my mother was unable to make it here with me. during her search, she caught an illness a long way from here which no normal wolf could heal. There was only one wolf with a power with us at the time, and he did not have a healing power. I'm afraid she hass passed from this world." Her eyes regained a bit of brightness, the same type that Iceflame used to have. "But I did not lie when i said she sends her regards. Her spirit led me to this place, and still watches over me. She is listening to our conversation right now. She asked me to tell you that she missed you."

Feral managed to keep his attitude passive as his alpha stood to examine the girl and, though he believed what the she was saying, only relaxed after she gave her seal of approval. It seemed that his new beta's mother had had some kind of connection to the alpha which granted her special attention. However, Feral pushed that out of his mind when he saw the boss offer some of her food to the new female.
Though he had eaten before joining the meeting, the scent of fresh meat caused a growling to arise in his stomach. He began to sulked for a time, but didn't try to ask for any since he figured it would disturb his all female company. Thus, he once again found interest in tales of the beta's mother as she recounted their history together.
The mood seemed to darken a little when word of the mother's passing reached his alpha's ears. Feral lowered his head as a sign of respect, but couldn't keep away his curiousity after hearing that they were still in contact with one another. "Exactly how does that work, Serala?" He got back on his feet and started looking around at the sky as if he would she the said wolf floating there. "Can she see us from here? Oh. Maybe I need to talk louder for her to hear me?!"

Taking a moment to look at the Crystal Alpha, she deemed that to be a yes, Celeste did appear to have what it takes.
"Oh, Grizzly. I've heard great things about him but never have gotten the chance to meet him. Send him my greetings." Ah so she wasnt exactly friends with Grizzly but had heard of him, well that was good at least, she didnt seem to hold any anger of that in her voice. "Of course ma'am," she spoke, bowing her head, "I am sure he sends his greetings as well," technically she couldnt speak on behalf of her alpha, but anyone who gave their greetings sure deserved to be greeted back right?
The growl was unexpected. Caoilainn flattened her ears to her head as she lowered herself to the ground. Had she accidently stirred things up by mentioning the demon pack, was that pack really hated as much as the rumours said they were. She immediately felt sorry for bringing them up but Celeste seemed to have composed herself enough to answer. So it was true, the demon pack were as horrible as what people said. She didnt pry into the reason why it upset the Crystal Alpha, she had no right to do so and so she nodded, remaining low on the ground.
She watched the red female nod to her as Celeste introduced her. She offered Serala a smile. The story she spoke of was a sad one, one that no wolf had to go through, but at least she had made it to the crystal pack lands right, at least Serala was still alive and now safe.
"Exactly how does that work, Serala? Can she see us from here? Oh. Maybe I need to talk louder for her to hear me?!" So Serala's mother was now a spirit wolf, so it seemed. "I'm able to answer that one," she replied, looking at Serala before turning back to the alpha and warrior. "There is another dimension of this earth where the spirit wolves go. They remain as spirits or if their intentions were extremely pure on earth before they died, they become angelic wolves. They can see us and hear us if they wish, but wont do anything to help us unless the earth is in danger itself. They do come down, though rarely as a normal wolf," she took a breath, "they are forbidden to have contact with their children, though some do manage to find a loophole in that rule so to speak. My mother told me this as my father was an angelic wolf, i've never met nor heard him." The mid afternoon smelled fresh and despite the sky being slightly overcast, the sun still peeked through the clouds plenty of time keeping the air mildly warm. Spring has made her appearance throughout these lands and has caressed her love over the rolling hills, making the grass greener and flowers bloom. Frey couldn't help but flex his toes and feel the soft grass thread between his claws. The atmosphere gave the day a more relaxing, lazy feel to it and made Frey feel like he had nothing on his list that he had to get done, or that he really felt like he really had to do for that matter anyways. Which was on the odd side for him. Usually he's very quick to get things done and be serious in taking course in actions. He supposed it was just one of those lazy days.
Pulling in a deep breath, Frey let it out slowly, wondering what was going to become of the day. Ever since his return to the Crystal pack, he hasn't much of anyone albeit his sister, though only once or twice. Perhaps it hasn't changed much before his temporary defection; the numbers were still small and perhaps even more died off. The thought was horrifying that it may be possible the Crystal pack would be no more soon.
Abruptly standing up, Frey trotted off in a random direction, not sure or not caring really where he ended up. Gait fluid and unwavering, Frey began to dematerialize into sheets of paper. They flew off him much as if a wind came and swept away a stack of paper. Soon, all of his paper dispersed and his body was no longer present, just his paper. Slowly and one by one, they each folded into different shapes with each other. They formed together to create life size birds, each having intricate detail, showing his skill. They began to flutter and flap their wings. With the aid of the wind, Frey's paper traveled higher into the sky as he looked like a flock of birds flying together. At first glance, others may be convinced they were real, but if they were to look closely and hard, they could tell they weren't.
Frey couldn't quite see out of his creations, however he could "see" by sense of feeling other wolves' presences by their mana. However, he can choose only one of his creations to use to physically see and switch from one to the other. Doing this, he has spied upon a small group that has gathered by a small clearing in the Enchanted Forest. Being the first time he's seen so many in a long time, his flock of origami birds made their decent. Soon enough they made it to the clearing, though some distance away from the others. The birds that resembled something of that like a dove, fluttered then unfolded back into a flat sheet of paper. They began to stack upon each other, creating Frey's body once more. Within a short moment's time, the last few sheets found their place, seamlessly setting in. Meanwhile, he looked over at the others and saw Celeste. Two others seemed oddly familiar, but the white one with wings did not at all. Perhaps a new member? A loner?
Tail swishing behind him, he slowly approached them, his expression aloof and solid. "What have we here?"

"What?" Was Celeste's only response. Iceflame was...dead? No, she couldn't be. The wolf shook her head in doubt. "No," she whispered to herself. Her heart started beating rapidly as a swarm of emotions formed in the pit of her stomach and worked its way up. Iceflame was like her sister. They were raised together basically. This could be. Dammit! Why wasn't Celeste there to heal her? She would have made a way to make that possible. Normal wolf or not, Celeste came from a lineage of healers. She would've helped somehow. Somehow...but she wasn't there. Iceflame passed from this world to the next, and she wasn't there. Her ears perked up hearing that she is still with her daughter Serala. A weak smile formed on her lips as she mentally forced herself to not express her true feelings in front of her pack. Their leader needed to be strong. "Tell her that I miss her as well." She said through forced words. She meant them, but her emotions were going to spill over if she didn't get a hold of herself.
The sound of Feral sulking brought her back to the present. She looked over at him then heard his growling stomach. "Oh Feral, don't you know that I offered the food to you first? I thought that you didn't want it so I offered it to her. You are more than welcomed to eat of it." She said with a small smile. Feral can be...well, feral. But other times he's completely adorable, and now was that time. "My question exactly," said Celeste as she focused her attention back to Serala.
Her head whizzed to Caoilainn when she explained their questions. Celeste nodded in understanding and agreement. "Yes. I remember my father speaking briefly of that as well. Unfortunately I haven't gotten the pleasure of hearing any communications." She shrugged it off and then pointed her nose in the air when a familiar scent caught her senses. Her tail started to wag as she recognized who this was and watched as the familiar wolf formed before her eyes.
"Frey!" She said in excitement. Ignoring her role as an alpha she raced up to him and tackled him to the ground and began nipping at him. She got up from him and shook her coat to get her composer back together. "What we have is Feral, a guest from the Galaxy Pack Caoilainn, and our new pack member, Serala." She pointed to each of them and then turned back to her brother. "How are you?"

He listened to the Galaxy Healer's explanation with a silent reverence which was unusal for the warrior. The idea of there being other dimensions and spirit wolves was a bit hard for him to understand. Feral's own opinion on the afterlife wasn't very developed, except for the fact that he didn't want to experience it any time soon. He looked back at his beta with a mix of curiousity and confusion, but was soon preoccupied with something else.
After heaing his alpha say that he was welcome to some of the meat, Feral lost interest in the conversation and gave into his hunger. He playfully jumped on the poor creature and began biting it as if it weren't already dead. Though he made sure to leave enough for his new beta, half the creature was already gone by the time the newest wolf stepped into the clearing.
Looking on with his mouth full, Feral recognized the male as the alpha's sibling from both her demeanor towards him and the similarities between their coats. Hearing her introduce him again, he jumped to his feet and tried to give a friendly greeting. "Wash uw? Mh hawe iz Fewah." Realizing that he had forgotten to swallow that was in his mouth, he quickly flushed the food down his throat and tried again. "Hehehe! Sorry 'bout that. Anyway, yeah, I'm Feral."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: d3d3d3; width: 370px; padding-top: 30; padding-bottom: 30;]It's better to be hated for what you are Than loved for what you're not Serala noticed Celeste's immediate reaction. She was devastated. Iceflame's death had hit her very hard. though Celeste immediately tried to hide this reaction, Serala had inherited her mother's sense of another's feelings. Serala's eyes grew softer. Indeed, Sera most definitely sympathized with Celeste. It had been her mother, after all. Her announcement that her mother was still with her seemed to calm Celeste, but only slightly. Serala's talk of this also seemed to spark interest in the others. She may have answered Feral, though she was glad someone else intervened, because the way he asked, rather than why he asked irritated her. After the others listened to the explanation, Serala finally allowed herself to be interested in the winged wolf. So she wasn't alone. There were others with 'angelic parents' as Caoilainn called them.
She supposed it made sense. Not everyone was walking alone. She supposed the 'loophole' Caoilainn spoke of that her mother had used had something to do with Sera's power. But either way, her mother was with her, and she was glad she was. "My sweet, I know you are a wondrous leader for one so young. request to Celeste to become Beta." Serala looked surprised, then looked to her left, seeing the echo of her mother's spirit. "But no... Are you sure I can...?" "Yes. Celeste needs you by her side, just as i needed her." Serala thought for a moment. During this time, Celeste had already tackled her brother and introduced everyone. Feral was now making himself known by name at this moment. however, he finished his introduction just before Serala made her reply to her mother. "Very well. I'll ask her, like you wish me to do." To most other wolves, she most probably would have seemed crazy, as she was talking to seemingly no one. And her mother's echo, only visible to her (and perhaps Caoilainn), faded. Serala, when she turned to the others again, was slightly surprised to find them looking at her. however, instead of letting this faze her, she turned the attention to her advantage. "I wish to ask to be your Beta, Celeste. I can provide you with much of my outside knowledge, and will excel in any duties assigned to me."

But it sure was fun. She flapped along, her hawk form weird when she had a ribbon and a tag on her legs. Though they smelled nothing like human, they still were human objects. She dove down, then brought herself up and landed on a branch, high above the trees. after listening, she heard no one, so she looked closely at the ground. an overturned leaf here, a large feather there, and presto! easy tracking without the need of being a wolf. Hawks were silent and skillful. Hopefully Caoilainn wouldn't recognize her when she caught up. She slid off the branch, then flapped until she found a slight updraft. It took her up about half a mile, and then she slipped out of the updraft and glided. Caoilainn had wandered right out of her own Packlands, by the look of things. Oh well, more of a length to track her.
She began gliding to and fro, so as to search better. Partially. the other reason was just because it was fun. she realized very soon that Caoilainn was nearly below her. So lazily, she began circling the area, gliding slowly downward. There was nearly a whole pack there! Or maybe that was the whole pack. it was hard to tell nowdays. She, in her sleek form, ended up landing on a branch very silently. She watched the wolves under her, noticing the meat. She was silent. observation only allowed for her. She was actually very proud of herself. she would make a good scout when she got older. she let that thought comfort her while she kept looking down at the others.
"What have we here?" A male wolf was just walking into the clearing.
"Frey!" a similar-looking female pounced on him. Probably either mates or relatives. She regained her composure after pouncing on him and play attacking him like a pup. Siblings. "What we have is Feral, a guest from the Galaxy Pack Caoilainn, and our new pack member, Serala." She pointed to each of them and then turned back to her brother. "How are you?" A red wolf jumped out from between the trees and lnded boldly before the two. "Wash uw? Mh hawe iz Fewah." Candy had to stifle the urge to laugh. The red male swallowed and tried again. "Hehehe! Sorry 'bout that. Anyway, yeah, I'm Feral." Another wolf seemed to be speaking to someone invisible. Feral and this wolf looked nearly the same, as well. They were probably siblings, too. she suddenly turnd to the others, but directly looked at the female one who tackled Frey. "I wish to ask to be your Beta, Celeste. I can provide you with much of my outside knowledge, and will excel in any duties assigned to me." Candy tilted her head, making one eye observe the others. something interesting was going on; she could feel it. She turned her eye to Caoilainn to watch her reaction to this. [/style] |

Siblings she deemed as she noticed their similiar markings and colours on their fur. The crystal alpha introduced her and the rest of the crystal pack to the wolf. She bowed her head at him submssively but remained quiet as Feral spoke.
Caoilainn glanced over at Serala, wondering what she was talking about and to whom. She could see a faint outline of a wolf and instantly recognised what it was. Spirit, her own power recognised it. So that must be Iceflame, Serala's mother. She remained quiet, listening to their conversation. It was hard to heard the spirit wolf, perhaps it was because the others were also talking, but the more she looked at Iceflame, the clearer she become.
The spirit wolf soon disappeared after getting confrimation from her daughter that she would ask Celeste to be the beta of the crystal pack. She was a little young to be beta, she thought, but it wasnt her pack, she couldnt interfer with their choosing.
"I wish to ask to be your Beta, Celeste. I can provide you with much of my outside knowledge, and will excel in any duties assigned to me." Had the others been able to see Iceflame speak to her daughter a moment ago, or were they simply too busy talking and introducing one another to notice? At least Caoilainn was observant, she had always been observant. She adjusted her wings, getting them in a more comfortable spot.[/style] [STYLE=font-size:10px; padding-left: 12px; font-weight: bold]words: to lazy to count tags: crystal pack/candy/open notes: n/a credit: template made by oxymoron! of btn[/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign, top][atrb=style, width:400px, bTable][style=text-align:center;width:100px; font-family:courier new; font-size:10px; line-height:13px; border: 2px #0cb0e0 solid; width: 100px; height: 100px;][/style]
