Things couldn’t get any worse for the silver she wolf first she had lost her brother, her father and second brother, and lastly her mother. She had left her pack all because of selfish pride and when offered to stay with them she refused like a stubborn pup without thinking of the consequences that would unfold with her new life, she couldn’t hunt and even with the help of the old loner Niko it was no use. She walked the neutral lands trying to find a proper den at least but even that was a difficult feat Aisu looked up to the sky and smiled when she saw the orange and black bird flying high, at least she had Amadeus to comfort. ‘Things can’t get any worse.’[/i] She thought with a sigh and then she heard thunder scowling she growled when the rain started to fall down on her she couldn’t even think to herself without something bad happening. Was she cursed for not saving her brother that day? For starting the entire disaster that was his death?
Yes, that just has to be it never mind this natural thing called weather. It just has to be your fault that it’s raining. She could hear the sarcastic teasing voice of Amadeus and could just picture him rolling his eyes at her dramatic thinking. It made her both irritated and happy she even cracked a smile at his teasing-happy that someone cared enough to be so realistic with her no matter if it hurt her feelings. Even though she knew that the Tanager wouldn’t intentionally hurt her. What are we going to do? We have to get out of this rain.
We’ll find shelter don’t worry. But first lets get a meal.[/i]

“I hate rain.”
Hissed the less than amused wolf as he continued to be soaked with water from the rain that was falling down in sheets. Why had they come out in the rain? Oh, that’s right, they were hungry a low growl emitted from his throat as Niyol chased after the owl that flew from branch to branch resting occasionally to gain her composer. “Why are we doing this again?” He called up to the caramel colored bird blinking harshly as rain stung his eyes and he could have sworn he saw a smile form in her eyes as she stared down at him knowingly.
“You’re hungry aren’t you? You need to learn to hunt, don’t let my time be wasted teaching you!” She replied before she flew off again and he grunted as he raced off after her.
He hated rain, hated it. It was cold and wet and it stung him like a thousand bees as he ran trying to keep up with Odin. The ginger wolf then stopped and glared at the sky snorting “She can catch her own food.” He growled turning he had enough of playing a wild goose chase that is until his stomach sounded with hunger and he rolled his eyes scowling before he set off again.

“This way Aisu c’mon hurry!” Amadeus yelled from high above guiding the ex Alpha to what hopefully would be their dinner as she ran through the trees ignoring the painful stings and jabs from the brush she could see something running but didn’t exactly know what it was and clearly Amadeus didn’t either.
“Faster! You’re almost there!” Aisu growled as she picked up speed the bird was faster than her in the sky than she was on the ground and could see for miles while she could only see what was in front of her she had no idea what she was chasing, Amadeus had to be her eyes and she hoped that he knew what he was doing.
“How much farthe-oof!” The silver youth fell onto the ground and groaned wondering what she had ran into. Hopefully it wasn’t a pup again

“Watch it!”
“What is it, Niyol?!”
The ginger male stood and looked behind him only for a pleased smirk to spread across his muzzle as he stared at Aisu. His orange eyes clearly held the look of deep interest “It’s nothing Big Mama!” He replied before he lifted a paw to bow to her “I’m Nikolas, but call me Niyol. Who are you?” His voice was smooth and warm like a soft spring breeze and his eyes were just as inviting. Who could this beautiful succulent female be? By her scent she was obviously young about maybe in her late teens yet she held such a high rank for such a young age it intrigued Niyol all the more and he wondered what kind of secrets he might delve from her.
“Oh hurry up Niyol. Our dinner is get-“
Odin stopped her scolding as she landed on the male’s shoulder and noticed the silver female. “Well hello sugar. What’s your name?” She asked sweetly her yellow and brown eye wide with kind interest yet when she realized that Niyol had lied to her she peaked at his ear softly “It ain’t nothing’ my tail feathers.” She scolded before she noticed that her surrogate son didn’t introduce himself one of her talons dug into his shoulder slightly making him wince. “This bonehead here is Niyol. Don’t worry honey, he may look mean but he’s as sweet as apple pie.”

For a minute she didn’t know what to expect as she heard the gruff voice and when he turned around Aisu felt a small blush heating under her fur more so when he smiled at her. But then she reminded herself that he was a male and she coiled into herself again. He was an unknown male. She couldn’t deny that he was very handsome though and a part of her felt guilty as she thought of Grizzly for a second but soon stopped, he wasn’t here anymore and obviously wasn’t coming back. It was time to move on and no matter how hard it was she realized that she had to.
“I’m Nikolas, but call me Niyol. Who are you?”[/i]
Aisu snapped out of her thoughts when she heard his voice and she blushed all the more his voice was so soothing. “Uh, I’m Aisu.” She introduced herself and watched as he bowed to her he was very interesting but she was still wary of him. Then a bird came flying up to him and Aisu jumped back startled what kind of bird was that? It was much larger than Amadeus and more feathered than him as well with the coloring of bark yet when the bird started to talk she realized that she had nothing to fear and smiled at her. She laughed softly when Odin scolded Niyol and felt strange warmth when she heard her voice again. It was strange but welcomed.
“Aisu! Help!”

“Aisu is a very pretty name.” Niyol commented smiling at her before Odin interrupted and scolded him landing on his shoulder. He listened as his companion talked and rolled his eyes at how sweet her voice was sometimes he thought that she was a better deceiver than he was but then he realized that the bird seldom deceived people. Odin was very sincere in everything she did which was why her nickname was Big Mama-because she child everyone like a mother and half of Niyol was thankful for that. The male snapped out of his admiration when he heard Aisu laugh and he grinned stupidly swearing that he was in love until he realized that he doesn’t fall in love and he regained his composer. “So what are you doing out here in the rain, in a forest, all alone?” He asked slowly pausing to detail the question with an easy grin.
He could have sworn he heard someone call Aisu’s name for help but he ignored it probably a trick of the wind after all those ghosts loved to whisper distractions to him.

For awhile all the silver she-wolf did was stare at him not exactly catching his words as she was too busy trying to figure out where the owl had come from and where it had gone. Wait, where it had gone? The owl was gone? Why was the owl gone? “Aisu! Help!” Oh no, Amadeus. This wasn’t happening, not again Aisu turned to Niyol snarling and growling as she realized that he had done this. “You tricked me!” She hissed her voice hitching in a barely audible sad tone before she rushed off after her bird. Where could they be? She ran as fast as she could dodging trees and the rain before she heard a screech that hurt her ears and she stopped looking up into a tree where the owl stood clutching Amadeus in her deadly talons.
