Featherstream howled loudly, calling for her mate. She shot own from above, dropping the herbs she had gathered by the entrance to the Den Niko had made while landing clumsily. "Niko!!!" Her distressed voice echoed throughout that area, "Niko! Lal's gone missing! I turned my back for only a minute, and suddenly she's gone! Niko!" The panic in her eyes was obvious, if anyone had missed her panicked voice. Then she froze, her feathers unable to stop fluffing and changing between fur and feathers. "Niko." This time, her voice was a quiet sort of panic, which was far worse for her. "Where's Bram?" The panic of her words had sunk into the silence of the woods surrounding, causing the words to be more prominent than if she had yelled them at the top her lungs or louder.

Niko jerked awake. He'd been asleep, so sound asleep that his mate's antics nearly drove him into a heartattack. "What are you talking about? Feat-" His cubs were missing. Lal and Bram were out there somewhere and by themselves. "DAMN!" He was worried about his daughter- a lot, but his main concern was Bram.
Bram's power made him dangerous and it was uncontrollable. He could kill someone. "How could you let them out of your sight?" He yelled blaming his wife suddenly with a growl. "You know someone has to be with Bram?!" Niko walked out of their den and began sniffing the earth hoping to find a trail.

Feather fluffed up everything she had, and shot towards Niko, completely pissed off. How DARE you accuse me of losing my pups! I am not the only one responsible! Perhaps if you, Niko, Had been more attentive, you would not have lost BRAM!" a few of her feathers fell off of her and she shoved past Niko, leaving a short trail. Feather was getting sick. she knew she was. but no matter what, she refused to blame Bram. she would find her own remedy for her illness, even if she had to leave the territories. and if she had to, she would drag her pups with her whether they wanted to or not. She never wanted to lose the kin she had dreamed so long to have.
She began running faster and faster, till her wings were able to stretch to the fullest and she took off. She frantically looked down below the trees as her flight pattern wavered. The panic of a mother was unknown until now. And as that panic grew, a scream bubbled up from within her, and with might, she let it loose with a great howl. "BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!!!" Exhausted, her flight pattern wavered again, and she dropped toward the ground, her fever turning for the worse.

Ophellie strolled through the grove on a full stomach and hummed a tuneless melody. Although she didn't hear or see anyone around, she seemed to catch a whiff of a pup nearby. She lay her head low to the ground to pick up the scent and away she ran, searching for the possibly lost little tyke.
