Listening to Freya snap about blood being drawn on her first and getting worked up over a simple question from the winged medic wolf. Shadow's head drooped slightly. Everyone present had seen the atrocities that these Demons Performed and yet wolves were flocking to join them. Even now as he considered this he observed a new wolf smelling of the demon lands enter and take his place beside the other Demons with a Bright Smile on his face. A bright smile? Something about that just didn't quite fit. Since when did the Demon Clan smile? He listened to the Wolf prattle on about it being a lovely night in his odd accent and cocked his head as hew watched him drink a strange liquid he'd never seen before. This wolf actually seemed friendly. which threw him way off on his opinion of Demons. Shaking his head he threw the thought out. It was most likely a false front. Turning to his mate he nuzzled her fur softly in reassurance. He would reserve judgment on this one, but he wasn't about to let his guard down.

Blinking absently as he observed what was going on, Arch smiled again as his leader talked about the curse. "Oh are we recruiting? Lovely." He beamed at the small white wolf. Something about her peaked his memory, but he couldn't be bothered with it right now. He laughed heartily at her comment. "I suppose there aren't that many of us are there chaps?" He turned to his Alpha and Beta as if looking for an answer before shrugging and taking another lap of tea. His ears perked as the fact that she had just called him wicked registered in his brain. "OI! Wicked? I might not be the best gent in these parts, but I wouldn't consider myself to be wicked." He flashed another smile around the clearing at the somber faces and settled down once more. His tail swished happily along the stony surface before getting stuck between two rather obstinate rocks. With a yelp he tugged to free himself and accidentally tripped. Rolling over and inadvertently knocking over Horjacc and Freya in the process.

Nokida Store at the new wolf her eyes slightly widend "Arch....where do I know that name from" she said softly staring at the wolf absently as she searched her memory. she shook her head and walked towards the brightly colored wolf "hello Archimedes" she said softly bowing slightly "I do not wish to harm you.....I am only slightly curious about you.......Might we possibly have met in a past life?" she asked her voice calm as she kept her eyes locked with his, ignoring everyone else in the clearing so she could hear him if he spoke.

Niko growled low in his thoat at the slight threat that Freya made towards Featherstream. Words were just words, but he was waiting for any indication that she would act on them. When it looked like she wasn't he sighed moving towards her and nuzzling her slightly before moving on.
Niko shook his head at the wolves around Freya disgusted. Turning to Aisu and Grizzly he sighed, before giving them a smile. "Listen. I like you two. If she continues to give you grief or still tries to come through with her plan let me know. I'll do what I can to help you." He knew that he made a commitment to Featherstream, but he couldn't see himself doing anything less. Couldn't see her loving him if he did anything less then help the younger two.

Tyche was just so mesmorized by Freya that she blanked out when the female talked to her allowing other wolves to get between the two of them. Taking control back she hotly shook her head. "No, no, you've got it all wrong. I'm not alleginced with any clan. I'm a loner here, new, and haven't decided what I want to do. But you, you're wonderous. That power and command. I...I've never seen anything like it. Myself am just a healer with control over water. An old elemental power I know, but," she stopped herself realizing she was babbling. She didn't want Freya to see her as some pup that was just enamored.
It was more than that.
"What I mean to say is, that, I will come by your lands. I want to learn more about you and be apart of your mission. A tool for you to use, if you would. There is no ulterior motive." She was completely sincere.

Light's ears twitched in annoyance, and she turned toward the wolf. "Why would you Join them, then, if you're..." Her voice faded as she saw his clumsiness. She sat for a moment, controlling her breathing, then stood and stepped towards him, her eyes scolding, but hiding amusement. "You great lump! You should where you put your great behind!" She then caught a whiff of herb-scented water, and suddenly, she remembered him. She blinked. "Ar... Archimedes?" She guessed, her voice very quiet. "The same one from England so many moons ago? You're still drinking that leaf juice?"

When Niko explained, Featherstream tensed, then relaxed. "Is there anything i can do?" she whispered to him, listening to Freya's threat. She went over to Grizzly, then tensed again. "His mind is being attacked," she said to Niko. "Aiden, come here."

Aiden stood there, frozen. Talking wouldn't do much good. Why would the great Demon Alpha listen to reason? She had to be offered something she wanted. He tensed as he thought through this. "Freya. What would it take for you to leave this alone?"

As the words great lump left the small wolves mouth Arch raised an eyebrow at her. He only remembered one wolf who had called him that before. "Light? is that you? well i say this is an interesting turn of events" He smiled warmly at her comment of his tea. "Yes love, I still have this strange addiction. And a lot of trouble its caused me. I'm sure you'd love to hear about it." Registering that the blue female had detached herself from the rest of that group of irritated looking fellows and come over to inquire about having met him in a past life, Arch excused himself momentarily from Light and turned to the female to give an embarrassed grin. "Pardon miss but I'm not very aware of myself in this life let alone a past one." He was about to inquire about where she might have recognized him from when he noticed that behind the group of somber looking wolves was a chap who wasn't looking rather well. "Excuse me ladies." He said politely as he cautiously approached the injured wolf. Now that he was closer he could make out the burn marks more easily. Concern on his face he unslung the satchel from his back and dropped a bag of tea leaves next to the Injured chap. Turning with a sad smile to the Winged wolf he gestured to the sack. "Try boiling these in some water and having him take a drink when he wakes up. I've added something special to the mix that just might help."

Ra snarled, loud and fierce as he leapt over Luna into a more open area in front of the other wolves. This was ridiculous. Fights, blood drawing, arguments, recruitments, and now an endearing speaking wolf drinking herbs. "What is wrong with this picture?" He snapped the question rhetorically. Pacing to and fro among the wolves, his golden designs flashing with his disturbed movements in the moonlight, he stopped as near as Freya he could get. "You and your pack," The furious red and gold loner hissed. "Are the majority of this. Conjuring back those who are meant to stay at rest, attacking innocents, corrupting others to join you; it's all just a game to you. How far are you willing to go?" His voice lower, stepping even closer into her personal space, golden eyes glaring into hers. "Until you destroy us all, including yourself?" They were nose for nose now and Ra didn't feel anything other than anger coursing through him. He didn't fear this wolf or her followers and what they believed they could do. Their power was only in what they represented, evil. "With power comes responsibility, and you've shown tonight you don't have even that, carrying around the title of an Alpha on your sky-high pedestal. But, I'll play your game, why not. What goes around comes around and you'd end up coming after me sooner or later, as one of your chosen 'victims'. So I'll just offer myself up beforehand. My choice, not yours. Or am I too good enough for you for you to bother with?" Ra snorted in her face and turned away, showing her his back and tail, not even wanting her answer. He did what he had wanted, stepped up and said what he needed to say. He believed that he and any other wolf with a shred of decency had a right to decide whether to be subjected as someone else's play thing or not. He made his decision, he wasn't going down without a fight, for himself or anyone else believing the same. His actions had shown that much.
Stalking away with his head held level, he took his stance by Niko. He had a feeling the fellow loner would agree with him for the most part. Still struggling in soothing his heated emotions, he sent a small spurt of solar flare towards the Demon Warrior's abandoned beverage, causing the liquid to boil over and flood over the dish's edges onto the ground. Shaking his head, he sighed. "We're all mad here."((Awesome, a quote from Spiderman and Alice in Wonderland, I'ma on a role. ))

Shadows ears flattened against his scalp as he observed what was happening. He had made a small noise of protest when Noki went to speak with the Demon warrior, but she had gone anyway. Archimedes as his name seemed to be had done her no harm and seemed to be a friendly enough wolf considering his affiliation. But that didn't make sense. Shadow was all the more surprised when Arch walked over and offered Grizzly something he said might aid in the healing. None of this made any sense at all. Judging from Ra's reaction, He wasn't making much sense of this either and it was making him very irritable. He watched with great interest as Ra went on his tirade and finished by boiling over the herbal treatment The Demon warrior had left. Raising an eyebrow at the Loner, Shadow returned his attention to Freya for her reaction. Tensing his muscles in case he might need to aid in defending the other Loner, Shadow glanced over at the odd Demon Warrior and Noki making sure nothing happened to her.

(OOC: Archimedes, Freya's standing on a large rock looking doen on the rest of the wolves, just to let you know)
She watched as others assessed Archimedes before turning to Niko. "I wouldnt have told you of the plan if it wasnt foolproof. Nothing will stop my plan but me, not you and certainly not any other wolf, no matter what power they have," she replied to the lone male before turning her full attention back to Tyche. She couldnt help but smile at her words. Tyche said she was wonderous, at least she was a smart wolf knowing when another had power and command over others. To top if off she said she was willing to be used. Her exact words. She nodded her acceptance. She could do with a healer, well an experienced one. She was still in the process of talking with Lucifer about him and his daughter coming into the pack, he as a warrior and her possibly their healer.
A movement caught her eye and watched as her warrior dropped something next to Grizzly. "You better not be helping the enemy," she snapped at him, he was a demon after all, demons didnt help anyone else unless there was benefit for them. She sighed as yet another angry voice was directed at her. She looked down from the rock to find the red and gold loner. She tilted her head, placing a bored look in both her eyes and on her face, even adding a yawn as an extra effect. He was acting all smart and cocky saying that she'd go after him in the end. She deicided at that instant that she wouldnt. She had already seen his power, Luna would be his replacement. She'd be able to kill and resurect the fire alpha whenever she needed her. She looked down her muzzle at him, another wolf that had bravery though stupid. He was just a loner, he couldnt do much and then he said he was offering himself up to her. Then he turned and left to stand next to Niko without an answer. She didnt trust a word he said, something was up. Why would he offer himself to her and then go stand next to the enemy. "Well you'll just have to wait and see what my answer is," she replied before stretching her legs. It was getting to the point of boredom, maybe she and her pack should make a leave soon.

Nokida watched the demon male walk away before she walked slowly back to Shadow "I swear I know him...." she said softly her eyes in a daze as she moved to stand beside Shadow once more her fur bristling as a chill went down her spine "but from where..." she said not noticing as her fangs bared in an angry snarl her eyes turning to ice as cold seemed to raidiat off her making her water like tail sway and ripple.

Aiden snorted at Freya. She hadn't even answered his question. He turned around in time to hear the newest Demon wolf, Archemedes, offer Feather some herbs for Grizzly. At first he was suspicious, but a quick look through his mind told him he was serious. "That's just as well," Aiden said, walking up to him, "But why are you with them if you're that decent a fellow? Is it only because they were willing to take you in? And why would you be willing enough to face Freya's wrath just to help another?" Aiden sat next to his sister, not willing to leave her under the eyes of a demon wolf, no matter how decent.

Featherstream eyes the gold colored wolf suspiciously, and was about to deny the offer, but then Aiden came and talked to him as if he believed the herbs would help. She looked back at him in suprise, knowing that if Aiden believed him, it must be true. "I would like to know that as well," Featherstream said. "And why should i boil them in water," She added, "Wouldn't it be faster just to make him eat them? Oh and while I'm at it... Aiden. I need you to see whether or not his mind is being affected in any way. He's in more pain than just burns." she looked at Grizzly again in concern.

Arch was slightly shocked that this male wolf knew about the Demons taking him in. He supposed he had some sort of mental power. Shrugging he smiled brightly and spoke in a low voice to the two of them. "Between us mates, they helped me when I needed it most. I'm convinced that there has to be good buried somewhere in those chaps. No matter how deep it is. I intend to find it." With a wink and a shushing look he straightened up at Freya's scolding remarks and turned a smile on her. "Apologies miss, I was just inspecting your handiwork. I must say it was a good show." Turning back to the two he gave an almost imperceptible nod and indicated the herbs with another smile as if to give word they were fine for use. Lowly, he whispered to the winged healer. "Your going to want to boil it love, trust me it tastes bloody awful otherwise." With a small chuckle he turned away from the two of them and returned to his position beside his Clan.

Post by kestrel on Mar 10, 2010 15:18:35 GMT 10
Kestrel lowered her nose to the ground she'd almost forgotten. So much she'd missed... so much time. Her golden eyes flashed in the moonlight when her head raised, peering into the night illuminated by the full moon. She glanced up, then down at her small weasel companion. "Come'on Lavish, time to go say hello to everyone." She smiled. The small weasel, excited and energetic, charged off ahead of her. A flicker of a smile crossed Kestrel's mussel before she lopped off after her friend. The night air caressed her thick fur coat lovingly. How she enjoyed it's freshness.
She entered the outskirts of the Gathering; wolves were bickering and few -if any- noticed her quiet entrance. Almost instantly she spotted her red friend, Ra, and a grin came over her face. He seemed mad about something, but she didn't care much. Sneaking silently up behind him and the white wolf, Niko, Kestrel crouched. A smirk came over her face before she launched herself at the red wolf, tackling him. Once he was effectively on the ground, Kestrel laughed, her tail wagging furiously, and she got off of him. "Hey guys, d'ya miss me?" She teased, plopping down in front of them. She gaze travelled around the clearing and landed on Freya. Her muscles tensed and she sighed, rolling her eyes, ”Doesn't seem like much has changed. Queen B still on her pedestal it appears.” She joked, tongue lolling. ”Who wants to help me knock her off her throne?” She winked, then looked over at Freya, concentrating on her mind.
Squinting slightly, Kestrel sent a few bolts of pain towards the female's mind, and smirked at her, fixing her golden gaze on the red-tinged female. How she loved getting into the demon-wolf's fur. Her smirk grew, then she sent a daring wink at the demon-girl and turned back to her male companions. A flicker of movement caught her eye, and Kestrel looked to see -she couldn't believe it- Luna. Her jaw dropped open, eyes wide as she jumped to her feet. Clearly much had been missed in her absence.
The tendrils of her mind reached to the wolves surrounding her, and she flinched when coming in contact with a thick stream of pain directed at Grizzly from Freya. Not that she was overtly surprised, though. She used the strength of her mental abilities and knocked the line from the poor, scorched male. Shooting a glare at Luna, she touched her mind to a select few wolves, drinking in the events. She felt as if the breath had been kicked from her stomach, and she was in almost utter shock. ”Last time I leave for a long period of time.” She muttered.
Leaving Ra for a moment, Kestrel made her way over t Grizzly, who had been left unattended for long enough. She gently licked the scorched burns on his skin. ”Sorry, I'm not such a great healer... know only the basics.” She apologized around her licking. All wolves and canines have healing components to their saliva, and until one of the idiot medics get over here and help, it was what she was going to have to use. ”Featherstream, get over here and work your magic. Forget about herbs.” ”You're going to want to boil it love, trust me it tastes bloody awful otherwise.” Kes chuckled at the male wolf's use of words and accent. He sounded cute, and she had no idea how he'd managed to get into the Demon Pack. It didn't really fit much. Withdrawing her mind from him, she returned her attention to Grizzly. The tendrils of her mind gently soothing him, cutting off certain nerves to his brain to ease the pain. As soon as Featherstream stopped her yapping and started her healing, she'd return Grizzly's nerves to him, but until then it'd be better if he didn't move, and didn't feel anything. ”Featherstream.”
The light touch she'd had with Niko's mind told her he probably wouldn't enjoy her talking as such to Featherstream. While she had nothing against the female, standing around and asking questions wasn't that appropriate at this time. ”Ra, would you mind being a dear and boiling those leaves like the English wolf said?” She turned her head to the other wolves, ”I need someone who can conjure some water over here, please. Tyche, though I hate to ask for your help...” Her ears flattened when addressing the female she still didn't like, ”Would you mind doing just that?” Her eyes turned to Freya, flicking over to Luna once, ”And why don't you buzz off? No one wants you here. ... Except maybe her,” she flicked her head in Tyche's direction, then rolled her eyes, ”-but no one really seems to care about her opinions right now anyways.”
Turning back to Grizzly, she gave him a few more licks on the serious burns before she moved back to give the medics some room. She glanced over at Ra, ”Man, I hate missing all the fun.” She winked, sitting back and watching on like a mother goose. Something told her, though, that the chances of water coming from Tyche were highly unlikely, so she turned to Lavish. ”Lavish, dear, you mind getting some water please?” The weasel nodded energetically and lopped off to fulfil Kestrel's request. ”Home sweet home.” She muttered darkly. ((surprise! I'm baack =P Sorry I left so long guys, family and school issues =( Forgive me? 0=) ))

Charlie shook the ice from her body. Glancing around at the remains of her den, she sighed. How she hated earth quakes. The collapse of her den on her had put her into a dormant state, and now as the signs of spring gently touched the outside of what had once been her den, Charlie lifted herself from the ground. She was in pain, but looking down at her arm, she was glad that the ice had kept her body in tact during her dormancy. Looking around, a slight panic caught her when she noticed the necklace was no longer around her neck. 'Freya...'[/i] She instantly thought. But then a glint of light caught her eye, and she saw the small necklace protruding from a snowbank.
Relief flooding her, Charlie went over to the necklace and slipped it on, feeling the warmth of it pulsing against her skin as it sunk into her fur, disappearing from view. She had no idea how long she'd been dormant, but she defiantly needed to get this to an Alpha, and pronto. She had no idea how much longer on this earthly plane she'd be granted. Glancing around, she noticed she'd been barricaded in, and began scratching at one of the walls with her sharp claws, digging her way out easily. Shaking bits of ice and snow from her body, Charlie glanced up into the night sky and spotted the full moon, past it's peak and beginning its descent. She didn't have too much time before wolves would slowly be making their way from the Gathering.
Taking off at full speed, Charlie ran up the cliff face, through plains, and eventually came to the bush that protected the clearing of the Gathering. Already she could hear angry voices. Giving a huff, she made her way into the clearing, assessing the area. A majority of the wolves were on and around a large rock. Atop which, of course, perched Freya. Once again, Charlie felt as if she shouldn't be surprised. Only two wolves stumped her; two of which she'd never seen before. One, she heard, had a slight English accent, the other stood stock-still in front of Freya, a blank expression on her face. From the corner of her eye, Charlie spotted Cherokee, and decided she'd join the elder once she was finished finding out what she'd missed.
Making her way to the large group, she nodded greeting to the wolves she knew, and sat back, studying the female in front of Freya. The stench of death surrounded her, and Charlie jabbed a nose in her direction, ”Who's she?” She asked, glancing over at Freya with an annoyed glance. Her gaze turned to Niko, the only other wolf she'd really been acquainted to. Mildly, Charlie wondered where on earth Scarletta was, but she figured that was something she could find out later. The stench of blood and burnt fur and skin clogged her nostrils like a poison. Not actually needing breath in her dead body, Charlie ceased the flow of breath to her lungs, glancing curiously at the wolves there.

Brightfang, eyes glittering at meeting an old aquaintence, turned to Freya. "Actually, Freya, you may find my skills useful as well, however, I will help you when I choose to. No other time, as you will find i am one of insisted individuality, and i do not like other stepping on me. And please pardon me if i do not give you the appropriate response, but I am a difficult wolf to hold down, as well... Such as yourself." Light swished her tail and turned to Arch. "I'll catch you later. I've got some things to do. See ya around... bright head." She turned and faded from sight, smell, and thought.
